do NOT buy

bought this product to do quick clean up after my puppy. Worked great with the first bottle. When we tried to change a new bottle. Would NOT seat in. Just a piece of junk! Forcing you to buy a new mop for every bottle you use.d

It may help to know that if it’s happening with the 500 ml (16.9 fl oz) bottle you’ll see an arrow printed on the solution bottle should be against the pole, rotate the bottle and insert it with the arrow away from the pole. Product is not what I thought I was buying.

Swifter power mop does not come with batteries. I have checked 3 boxes. I had to purchase my own. Do not buy unless you get a credit for no batteries.

Thank you, Louise, for sharing that you've had this confusion. We assure you, every Swiffer PowerMop comes with a battery compartment, which should be holding 2 AA batteries. Our Quality Team is always on watch, ensuring that every Kit is completed before it heads to your local store, so learning that you've found three kits without batteries isn't expected. We're wondering if you didn't realize they were inside the compartment, so you didn't look inside of it. Where's the Power?

I inserted the batteries and all they seem to do is operate the mechanism for squirting the liquid onto the floor. Am I doing something wrong? Where's the Power?

Not working

It worked good with the original bottle of cleaner. However, after purchasing a new bottle of cleaner, it quit working. I have changed the batteries and cleaned the spray nozzles.

I have 2 boxes & bottles of solution left.

Second swiffer & just like the first one it quit spraying. It is not clogged & batteries are new. Worked great the first few times using it then it stops spraying.

While it may seem silly, please double check they're inserted correctly, and that you're using AA alkaline batteries. Using rechargeable/carbon-zinc can be the cause of what's going on. The worst product I've ever bought

This product is the worst I've seen the pads don't stay on very good they keep falling off and the batterys was supposed to be included and they wasn't. I am not happy I wish I could give it a no star rating. Thanks for wasting my time and money

We're sorry to hear that this was your experience, as we have strict quality checks in place to ensure that you can use our PowerMop with ease. We suggest making sure that the printed side of the pad is being firmly pressed onto the PowerMop head. You can also spray some solution onto the floor and let the pad soak some of it up in order to get it to stick. As well, we'd expect you to receive everything that's listed on the packaging. I’m so disappointed with this Swiffer power mop I thought I was getting a great product seems easy to use but unfortunately I used just twice and now isn’t working anymore very upset

Buyer beware

The idea is great...but the cleaning solution won't stay snapped in place! I have to push it back down every time I need to squirter solution out..and it immediately pops right back up...dont waste your money like I did.

We're sorry you are having issues with the cleaning solution not staying in place, Tammy. Our products undergo many quality checks to ensure they get to you with the best results. Although this is not something we would expect, the vent valve may have stopped working on the device. The valve lets air enter the bottle while the liquid is being dosed. If the valve stops working, the lack of air entering the bottle could lead to the bottle collapsing. Company stands by it's products

I had an issue with a few power mops, but the company is amazing. I emailed to ask a question as to why it dies so easy, even with new batteries. The company was quick to reply and offered to send a replacement.

Not recommended

Unfortunately, I was hoping to use this mop for a long time but the sprayer function failed. Could not revive after several battery changes. The replacement pads are expensive but worth it if the mop had lasted more than 5 mos or so. Disappointed.
