As indicated in the directions, fresh AA alkaline batteries need to be used in the battery compartment. They should be brand new and from the same package. Don’t use a mix of old and new batteries as insufficient power will flow and will result in only one PowerMop nozzle working. Finally, it’s essential that the battery compartment clicks into place when putting it back in place.
