If you have not done so already, try twisting the poles together until they lock into place. You may have to push hard to connect the poles. When your Swiffer PowerMop has fully-charged batteries in it, and you press the trigger for 2-3 seconds, your spray should land about 10 inches in front of the mopping head. It's possible your batteries need to be replaced or aren't fully inserted into the battery cartridge correctly. We ask you to switch them out with fresh, brand new, one-time-use AA batteries.
