Bought this as a replacement for the stacked washer and dryer that came with our home. Our laundry room is very small and space is limited. I love that both doors swing left. Unit is quiet, which is nice since our utility room is near our main living area.

I bought the LG WHA101HVA Gas heated Washer/Dryer a month ago. We are considering it a 'pre-buy' for our new house with attached guest house. It will fit perfectly in the guest house! We don't have 240 V power right now and needed a washer/dryer solution while we live on the property while our house is built. This solution was perfect for us. We had the unit converted from natural gas to propane. We live in a beautiful, yet remote, location. It works so well, is compact and does an amazing job. I would recommend this solution to anyone with a similar challenge! We love it!

It didn't take up much more room than my much smaller unit that only lasted a couple years made by someone else. This wash tower has an amazing load capacity so I can do less loads of laundry each week. And it's such a nice looking appliance! It fits right in with the stainless appliances in my kitchen. I'm so happy with this purchase!

My wife is on the less tall side so some stacked units were out because controls too high, This LG is great because all controls are at waist level. Also like the idea of a single unit rather than 2 bolted together. The washer and dryer are quiet and do a great job of washing and drying. The looks of the unit is clean and modern. The WiFi capability is nice letting you know when washing or drying is finished.

This review is about the options I thought I was getting when I purchased the product but was extremely disappointed in that LG could not accommodate my needs. The issue is the venting of the dryer. I searched the internet for a combo unit whereby I can vent the dryer on the right side of the unit. This unit was advertised as being able to vent on the side. Two things went wrong here. First, I was not aware that a separate side venting kit had to be purchased. So be mindful of this added cost. Second, once I spent money on this side venting kit, the dryer could NOT be vented on the right side although there is a pre-cut hole on the unit. The reason it can't be vented on the side is because there is a gas pipe and other parts housed on the right side. The LG technician that came out to install the unit said he couldn't move the internal parts. Now I'm stuck with this unit, I'm out the money for the side venting kit I will not use and it's now going to cost me money to make other arrangements to have this combo unit fit in the space I need it to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I dont normally do reviews but i felt i should with this set.i was so unsure to get this due to my budget but everything about it was looking so convenient for me the fact that im short so the functions being in the middle the fact that its thin i had such little space for it! i definitely was putting to much thought into it because of the price because Im so low budget this was like my life savings lol but then I said you know what im just gonna get it ! And I'm so happy I did its just perfect its worth the money I'm inlove 😌 so, so far so good 👍

It works great so far, clothes seem cleaner and drier coming out of the washer, thus taking less time in the dryer. Very quiet operation. I still have some learning to do as to changing cycle settings but that's on me. Fits nicely in the space and very sleek looking too. Couldn't be happier at this point.

The aesthetics of this machine are clean and I like the color (dark grey). The cubic size for both are perfect for the two of us. I feel like it cleans better than my old setup. There's only one drawback at this moment. The instructions say to wipe down the washer after use...and to leave the door open for 24 hours to avoid mold/mildew. There are many folds in the rubber where water can/does get trapped. We do wipe it down but, it's a bit of a hassle. We are complying with the suggestions and additionally wiping down the interior with distilled vinegar once a week to boot. I saw this on YouTube and feel it's a good idea. We've had ours for 4 weeks and the mildew smell is already present. I think it's a design flaw personally. Anyways, doing these three things to prevent mold is a pain and I never had to do this with my old machine. Hopefully, we don't end up with black mold inside despite our vigilance.
