This vegan shampoo is made with argan oil and lavender, which help to moisturize, cleanse, and smooth hair. I felt all of these benefits during the entire process of shampooing, conditioning, and the finishing results. The scent of warm lavender completely enveloped my shower and smells incredible. It is strong, which I don't mind, but keep that in mind if you are scent-sensitive. The shampoo consistency is medium-thickness but works easily into my hair. It has a light lather but still feels cleansing and effective. It never once felt drying or heavy on my hair and scalp. It rinsed away easily, leaving my hair soft and ready for the Weightless Smooth Conditioner. All in all, my hair feels soft, light, fluffy, and easily manageable. At first the scent is very strong when smelling it from the bottle but don't let that fool you once this baby lathers up on your hair it has a good aroma all around not too strong but just enough to know that there is some real organ oil going to town on your hair. I use this every other day to let my hair take a break from shampoo but even with that my hair feels soft all day long!

Lavender is my favorite smell and flower on the planet, I absolutely adore it. I love how strong the smell of lavender is with this! It makes my hair soft and shiny and less frizzy and it smells so, so good! I haven't had a shampoo that smells this good in a good long while. It suds up very nicely and washes off leaving your hair feeling clean. My hair smells amazing for DAYS after using this! Not only that, but it makes my hair very soft and shiny, but not the type of shiny that looks oily, the type of shiny that is just utterly beautiful. As soon as you open the bottle you can smell how beautiful the scent of lavender and argan oil is when combined together. I have tried it out for some time now and I am in love. My hair looks very healthy and even if I skip washing my hair one day, it still smells wonderful! First thing first, this shampoo and the matching conditioner smell AMAZING. No notes on that, absolutely love the scent. This shampoo definitely cleans well, but left my hair feeling a bit dry and stripped. I live in Minnesota and winter here is incredibly dry, so anything that piles on to that tends to be problematic. I'll probably try it again in summer when my hair is a bit less desperate for moisture, but in winter it's just not doing it for me and I'm not getting the smoothing benefits it touts.

They work really well but sometimes they don't lather as well as other shampoos and, since I have EXTREMELY thick hair, I end up using a quarter of the bottle during one wash. This, however, is an argan oil shampoo for the thick-haired girls out there. It lathers really well, makes my hair feel smooth and clean, and smells amazing! The fact that it's a natural shampoo and not tested on animals just makes it so much better.

I liked that the brand is taking the initiative to be environmentally friendly and ethically sourced. I like that it's sulfate free, cruelty free and is safe for my colored hair. It has a calming and relaxing lavender scent which for some could be a bit too strong. I have straight, thick, oily hair so I double shampoo to get my scalp extra clean. My hair came out feeling clean, very soft, smooth, shiny, and less frizzy, even into the next day. I typically air dry my hair. I was worried about the argan oil and coconut oil ingredients on my oily hair but my hair started to look greasy 2 days after, which is typical for me. I also used the matching conditioner.
