[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been meaning to try Love Beauty & Planet, and I'm excited that my first experience with their Weightless Smooth Shampoo was a positive one. This vegan shampoo is made with argan oil and lavender, which help to moisturize, cleanse, and smooth hair. I felt all of these benefits during the entire process of shampooing, conditioning, and the finishing results. The scent of warm lavender completely enveloped my shower and smells incredible. It is strong, which I don't mind, but keep that in mind if you are scent-sensitive. The shampoo consistency is medium-thickness but works easily into my hair. It has a light lather but still feels cleansing and effective. It never once felt drying or heavy on my hair and scalp. It rinsed away easily, leaving my hair soft and ready for the Weightless Smooth Conditioner. All in all, my hair feels soft, light, fluffy, and easily manageable. As soon as you open the bottle you can smell how beautiful the scent of lavender and argan oil is when combined together. I have tried it out for some time now and I am in love. My hair looks very healthy and even if I skip washing my hair one day, it still smells wonderful! Besides it being an amazing product, I feel so comfortable knowing that this product is super friendly on the environment!

I recently made the switch to the whole lavender collection for my hair. My hair felt very different after first use (less lifted than what I was used to after a wash with other shampoo, but very smooth and soft). It didn't take long to notice that my hair stayed cleaner longer. I have very long blonde hair (a little below the middle of my back) and have always experienced quite a bit of breakage and hair falling out. Since switching my hair is stronger than ever and I can actually brush it without filling up the brush.I've gone from needing to wash my hair AT LEAST every few days to maybe needing to wash my hair twice a week. I definitely plan to stick with this new routine. So happy to find the right match for my hair in such a lovely scent. [I use the lavender shampoo, conditioner and leave in treatment at each hair wash]

They work really well but sometimes they don't lather as well as other shampoos and, since I have EXTREMELY thick hair, I end up using a quarter of the bottle during one wash. This, however, is an argan oil shampoo for the thick-haired girls out there. It lathers really well, makes my hair feel smooth and clean, and smells amazing! The fact that it's a natural shampoo and not tested on animals just makes it so much better.

First thing first, this shampoo and the matching conditioner smell AMAZING. No notes on that, absolutely love the scent. This shampoo definitely cleans well, but left my hair feeling a bit dry and stripped. I live in Minnesota and winter here is incredibly dry, so anything that piles on to that tends to be problematic. I'll probably try it again in summer when my hair is a bit less desperate for moisture, but in winter it's just not doing it for me and I'm not getting the smoothing benefits it touts.

Not only did the product leave my hair feeling clean and silky, it made styling super easy. My hair was smooth without being weighed down. These were great benefits but the best part of this product was that I felt like my shower was transformed into a spa while using! The fragrance was incredible - relaxing and soothing, while the product itself was very rich and easy to lather. Plus you have the added bonus of the packaging being environmentally conscious.... whats not to love?!
