It lathered well, but I never felt I was rinsing it all out. Left a weird dry film to my hair, and made it look very dry, making my hair look thinner than it is. Also felt like it didn't keep my hair oil free for as long.

However, I always give my honest opinion after trying the product. Firstly, the scent is divine. It's not so strong that it gave me a headache, but long lasting enough for me to catch whiffs of it through the day when I moved my hair. My hair is 2B/C, very porous, and damaged from bleaching and dyeing. On a humid day, I look like I have a halo of frizz around my head. On a dry day, my ends feel like straw. After trying LB&P's sulfate-free shampoo, I was pleasantly surprised to find my hair was a softer shiner texture. It hasn't solved all my frizz problems, but it's definitely something I'll be coming back to because for the price point it performs better than all the expensive brands I've tried. #freeproduct

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gotta say this shampoo clicks most of the boxes, but since i'm sensitive to smells this was a little bit overwhelming for me, but i can totally see someone loving the scent! It does calm frizz (one of my primary concerns) and it leaves the hair feeling soft, overall i think it layers quite well. My scalp is normal and i didn't notice anything weird or uncomfortable. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First let me say that I love the smell! It is subtle, but still there. I love that the packaging label helps to make the philosophy behind the company more apparent, and that the origins & benefits of the ingredients are clearly labeled. The shampoo itself gets to a nice lather, and does a wonderful job of cleaning my hair. There were a few things though that makes this products seem more like a "green washed" product rather than actually being environmentally friendly. The first thing is that although many of the products are environmentally friendly, there are some that are not good for your hair and are just cheap ingredients. An example of this would be the alcohol in it. Second the label marks the shampoo as made with organic materials, which some of it is... but also some of it isn't after reading the finer print. My last thing that was disappointing was that it came in a plastic bottle. Plastic is TERRIBLE for the environment. So the philosophy is great, the foundation is there, but I just wish you went all the way by using glass containers and slightly better ingredients.

It has a nice froth to it when massaging it into your hair with a nice light scent to it. The shampoo lightly cleanses your hair, seems to have some healing qualities for dead ends, and is a very nice product. #freeproduct
