[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the scent, it was relaxing and a true Lavender scent. While this does help hair to be smooth it also weighs it down. Even when I was washing my hair, it felt like it added a film to my hair. When my hair was dried, it felt weighed down, I have fine fine and hair and I try to avoid that. This might be better suited for someone with already thick and voluminous hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the simple, natural looking, and textured packaging of the Love Beauty and Planet Argan Oil & Lavender Shampoo. I liked the smaller, compact size of the bottles because they were easier to hold and do not look like other shampoo bottles. I enjoyed the calming lavender scent, but it was a bit overwhelming in the shower. I was pleased with the addition of argan oil to help calm frizzy hair. I appreciate the mix of effectiveness and sustainability in this hair product line. I liked reading the information on the back label about healthier ingredients and caring for the planet. Some standout information included the recycled bottle, fast rinsing shampoo, natural/ethically sourced ingredients, vegan formula, product not tested on animals, and a parabens and dye free formula. I was happy to see that the ingredient list looks fairly short and includes several plant-based ingredients. The shampoo was very soft and easy to lather, and also did rinse quickly. One of my only complaints is that my hair was tangled after using this product, and my hair seemed frizzy with too much volume after drying. I did enjoy the lingering lavender scent in my hair throughout the day, but my hair just wasn't as calm and smooth as I would have expected.

The lavender is amazing smelling. Personally, i've loved lavender all my life because my grandmother used Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo and lotion in the lavender scent when i was young. I didn't use it at night like the scent silently suggests (no one said to use it at night, but lavender does indeed have that relaxing affect on people, so one could assume it's best to use at night). I used it in the mid afternoon when i decided to shower. Now, here's some back story to my hiar. In the month of december 2023 alone, my hair has seen 2 box bleach sessions, 2 permanent box dyes, and 3 semi permanent box dyes. As you can imagine, my hair is going through it. It's super dry and broken and marge simpson BLUE. so i tried this product and it lathered a TON and as i watched the remnants of my smurf colored hair dye wash down the drain, i noticed how smooth this lather was. it didn't react negatively with the dye at all, and my scalp wasn't itchy like with most shampoos which strip a little too much. I'm incredibly impressed. the only thing i would reccommend be changed is that instead of a squeeze bottle, that this product be sold in a pump, becuase this is very potent stuff, and one could easily be tempted to use more than necessary.
