I always have packages to send out for returns and this is an awesome shipping tape to use to tape up those amazon boxes I need to return. I love the compact size and the ability to keep it tucked away in a drawer to use when needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maybe I'm dense but I have a hard time getting the tape set up on the dispenser/tape breaker. I don't use packing tape frequently enough to remember how to start a new roll. Once I finally manage though, it works just fine. Used it to repair dried up tape on some old cardboard boxes used for storage and it worked well. The tape is sticky and of the good quality I'm used to from 3M tapes. The dispenser/tape breaker part seems well made and does what it needs to. Says it's heavy duty, I think it will hold up just fine for packages or items that might get a bit of a rougher treatment. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

With projects for grandchildren, shipping, etc. we go through this tape quickly. This is the 2nd time we have bought the tape (different vendors) and the cardboard inside roll is distorted so you can not pull the tape through the dispenser unless you pull the red plastic sides away from the roll of tape. Causes a lot of frustration!

I have purchased this item for years, in store and on line. The quality of the item has diminished dramatically. To begin the roll is difficult at best, the tape tears in uneven spots making easy usage possible, the sticking is also erratic- it often will just peal away, waste is ridiculous. If Scotch can not do better than this I am very sorry for the company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product does not seem to be much different that what I have used in past years. The tape itself is the best part of the product. The manipulating of the tape into the correct position for use, and keeping it there, are a little bit of a chore. The cutter seems to perform better than previously used versions. It takes a little bit extra coordination to use the device if you have larger hands, but perhaps I just need more practice.

I was in need of packing/shipping tape that would actually STICK to the various shipping materials I use, and Stay stuck. Other tapes never kept cardboard boxes closed during transit, or I had to use do much if it, it was rediculous. Scotch® Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape works better than I ever could have hoped for. I run an online retail shop and usually need to pack and ship multiple packages a day. This tape is the ONLY tape I've found (and believe me I've tried them all) that actually WORKS. I only need one strip to seal a box top securely, due to the tapes extra durable thickness. No more 'X' pattern across box tops, no more going through a roll of tape every few days. I am SO grateful I found this tape, and I HIGHLY recommend I for anyone who packs & ships things on a regular basis. You'll never go back to another brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Scotch Brand Heavy Duty Shopping/Packing Tape with a Dispenser free to evaluate, and I can say I was not disappointed with the product! We use lots of packing tape when storing items in boxes in our storage units, and we have used this tape often. The tape is strong, and keeps sticking even when exposed to extreme temperatures. The tape can be written on for easy identification of boxes. The smaller dispenser is much more convenient to use than the large handled device we were using previously. I also use the tape to secure the labels on my bottles of homemade extracts to ensure the remain readable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to pack some union financial records and wanted to ensure they wouldn't spill out the boxes into my trunk in transport so i taped the tops on the boxes using this heavy duty shipping tape. When I arrived at my destination the boxes had shifted around in the trunk but the boxes were still in tact and sealed.
