Love this tape it’s very sturdy and Works excellently. Unfortunately, I broke the dispenser on my other one and when I bought this previously a year or two ago, it came with a dispenser as well, but overall the tape itself is very good quality. You can use it to pack heavy packages and I’m always using it to send and return packages through UPS and FedEx and it always works great.!

Preparing to mive this brand was our go to. It is very sturdy and easy to rip. I purchased another brand by mistake and will definitely return it to purchase more scotch.

I needed tape to seal boxes for returns and gifts. The last ones I purchases were too thin and hard to get going after it flopped down on the roll. This is perfect.

Just buy it. Other tapes listed as heavy duty aren't as thick as this. A heavy tape keeps the tape from falling out of the dispenser rollers. This is very annoying and frustrating when the tape goes back on the roll and you have to pick the edge free. I used to think there was a problem with my tape dispenser but it was the lighter weight tape. Yes, this tape might be more expensive but the ease of use makes it worthwhile.

I've moved A LOT cross country in all types of weather and Scotch brand tape is the only tape we will use! We tried using other brands that were cheaper, but they failed due to humidity, length of time, etc. during the moves. Even though it is a little more expensive, the value is actually significantly better than other heavy duty tapes if you're using the tape for moving or storage.

Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape, 3" Core, Clear, 6 Rolls. This Scotch "heavy duty'" tape is of good strength and adheres well. It is sturdy(doesn't peel on the roll). If tape is dropped off by accident, it is easy to retrieve. The tape does not smell like the flimsy, cheaper tape does.

As a small business I have tried all the packing tape options. I will only be purchasing this going forward. It is so easy to start this tape. I never worry if it sticks. It’s easy to restart and it never rips. Strong once it’s in place, sticks easily.

I am unsure if it’s the product or the combination of the product and the cardboard boxes from Walmart. I am moving and this tape has a hard time sticking to the boxes. I pack a box and the next day it’s lifting off of the boxes. It’s very strange. The combo isn’t good. Otherwise I think the tape works fine but it is packing tape…

This tape isn’t what I would call “heavy duty”. It is thinner than heavy duty tape should be. It doesn’t adhere well to the cardboard boxes. It lifts up from the box, even though it was pressed down when applied. Would recommend you select a different brand

I was not expecting such bad quality from a time tested name brand but here it is. The tape on a tape gun spins so easily that when I tried to cut it I ended up pulling several unnecessary inches of tape. When pulling the tape on the tape gun around a box it slips so easily there is no real control and tape loss is inevitable as well as misplaced and sloppy tape line on the boxes. The adhesion level is LOW. I was compelled to use another brand of tape I had to tape over folded Scotch Tape corners BECAUSE THEY WOULDN'T STICK AND KEPT STANDING UP. I HATE this tape!
