I was also able to cut off the length of tape I needed without it getting twisted/tangled which can be so frustrating. I was packing up boxes for my daughter in college and I felt confident these packages would make it to her without splitting open. Sturdy tape means this mama feels the package is safe!

The tape is thicker that other shipping tape, which is thicker than other shipping tape helps it not roll and stick to itself. The tape has a strong stick to packaging allowing it stick well and hold the packaging together. The dispenser is small and easy to handle, the cutting tool works well.

Using this tape adds to the life of the books as they are used frequently by the children. I also use it as a quick "laminate" for photos that are used as picture exchange communication for children with speech disabilities.

I have had it now for 10+ years, it still works like it did when it was new : EXCELLENTLY! Easy to load, easy to use, and very powerful and durable. I was out of my previous packing tape and this could not have come at a better time as I have packages to mail. I especially like that the tape is in a dispenser because it avoids that game of finding the end of the tape. Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape lives up to its name and stays stuck. I don’t have to wonder or worry if my packages hold together when I send them out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Scotch Shipping Tape in the past to send "Home Reminders" to my daughter at college, four states away and good packaging tape was very important. I found Scotch Shipping Tape to be the best, but I wish, I had this "Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Tape" to use! My reasoning for the statement is that my anxiety and comfort levels, until my daughter received the packages, would not have been so high. This tape I found, proves itself to be Heavy Duty and sticks to the packages and seals them perfectly. This would even be fun to use during the Holidays, if your family and/or friends enjoy having 'fun' opening up presents!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Package Tape is not only good for sealing shipping containers it is also good for repairing packing boxes that are used for storing household goods or craft supplies. I use a lot of card stock in my crafting. The larger remnants are kept in cardboard boxes. Tonight I repaired two such boxes with this tape because the tape is strong enough to reinforce the weak and torn places. The reason I deducted a star from my rating is that the tape will sometimes tear where that tear is not wanted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy this is to wrap packages with. I especially like that its' clear so I can use it to secure my label. It comes off the roll easily and cuts on the cutting edge without any trouble. I use it with all my packages.

Purchased multiple rolls (20-25) of both regular duty packaging tape as well as "heavy duty" shipping/packaging tape. Tape does not stick to boxes at all, so you end up having to go completely around each box to allow the tape to stick to itself. Even comes loose from bubble wrap. If you want to use twice as much tape as should be needed, buy this product.

I just wish the dispenser was easier to use. I can't get tape to follow notches or stay in place between uses. I just don't have the knack for using these dispensers!
