This heavy duty shipping tape feels like a better quality tape I used 2 pieces didn't worry and package made it to my son okay.It sticks better than any other I have tried. I LOVE IT.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product, comes off of the dispenser easily and holds where applied. When and if I move again, I will use this product, it's great for sealing boxes securely. I have always thought highly of 3M products, it's a name you can trust.

If you are using this tape to pack or ship anything into boxes do not buy. This tape is so poorly made I am writing a review to warn people that scotch should stop making tape and focus on literally anything else. They had one job and now I am going full Karen in the hopes they stop mislabeling their "heavy duty" packing tape. The tape does not secure to cardboard boxes. Do not buy this overpriced garbage.

The blade on the dispenser is sharp and makes cutting very easy , this is extremely helpful when sealing a lot of items in a timely manner. Tape seals seamlessly and stays in place, I feel confident that my packages are secure and nothing will open up during shipping with reasonable conditions considered.

We pack our orders, tape them up, ship and forget it. We use a number of tapes but the packaging tape is used the most. We have NEVER had a problem!! In over 8 years we can honestly say that we have never had a failure of any of the Scotch Brand tapes or a problem during shipping.......and we ship domestic as well as international. Adhesion seems to be quite good. I'm not sure that I'd trust it for heavy duty applications even though it says "Heavy Duty" on the label. There's also not a thickness specification on the label. It seems more like a mid to light duty tape to me. Clarity is great so it's good for labels. It is on the expensive side though.

I especially like to use it to repair the corners of board game boxes that have ripped. It's clear which is great, plus heavy enough that it provides an excellent seal. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have a hard time of using packaging tape because it is hard to tear and never sticks well, but this product is so much better and makes using the tape nice and easy. The tape is strong and durable so that you don't have to worry about your packages coming open. I also love that the dispenser makes the tape so easy to use and tear and makes the job easy. This is definitely a product I would recommend for home and for work and it makes shipping easy.
