[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] when the clips that hold my cartridge on vacuum broke and dust went every where, i tape it closed to the vacuum and wall-a was back doing my cleaning and is still holding,but the nicest thing was how easy it was to stretch across and seal and tear at the point that they needed and i had three layer tape patch not just for sealing packages anymore

This is my go to tape when shipping orders, that being said I hate how it's so loud compared to other tapes from the same brand . It's loud enough that I can't do any packaging at night because I'm worried it'll disturb someone . The tape itself is great!, it sticks well and doesn't budge

I've used this packing tape to hold together very heavy boxes that were almost disintegrating. Book Fair Returns for a school. Weve also used it to reinforcethe covers of heavily used reference materials. I also use it for at home lamination of cards and art projects.

Purchased 3 of these for a total of 16. The plastic dispensers are defective. The tape will not feed through the slot. The plastic is preventing the tape from going through. It deems the entire package useless if you can't pull the tape through the dispenser.

The tape itself has a pretty good thickness to it and it delivers the "stickiness" to properly tape down a shipping box. The dispenser, on the other hand, needs some getting used to. The tape can be a little finicky to pull from the dispenser. But once you get the right angle, the tape rolls like a dream! What I really appreciate is the tape cutter at the end of the dispenser. The blade/cutter makes cutting a piece of tape 10x easier than having to find a pair of scissors. Overall, I am very happy with the the functionality of the product and the convenience it offers with the blade/cutter at the tip of the tape dispenser. I received a sample of this product from 3M but the opinions are of my own.

And, most importantly, it really sticks. Even on surfaces that other tapes have trouble sticking to, the Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape actually gets the job done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been on a budgeting plan ever since I lost my job in January 2010 and have tried several generic type tape to save money and realized after trying several off brand (off-brand meaning any brand besides Scotch) and came to see why it was cheaper. They are cheaper because they substitute quality in my opinion. I went back to purchasing Scotch brand tape for all off my taping needs including packing tape, labeling tape, wrapping tape and office tape and I am in relief! Scotch tape works wonders and has never been the tape used when a package busted open, a big bubble was left on my shipping label and never has Scotch tape tore and stuck to the tape roll while ripping in pieces trying to peel it back off the roll. After all of my trial and errors I came to realize one fact worth notating... While the economy is tough and though we are all cutting back there is just some things that have no substitute and that is Scotch brand tape. It works fabulously. Period. It has no substitute!
