I am an elementary teacher and use this tape for many many things in the classroom. One of the biggest uses is to tape name plates on student desks. I have never had any trouble until this year. The tape will not stay down on the desks. I bought a multi pack of tape and have tried all the rolls. I have wiped the tables with water, then the school's cleaner and then Clorox wipes. The tape comes up after each cleaning. Help! What do I need to do?

When I arrived at my destination the boxes had shifted around in the trunk but the boxes were still in tact and sealed.

We were trying to figure out a way to hold this in place. The packing tape said "heavy duty". I grabbed a piece of this from the roll and low and behold it works wonderful. Saves us having to get a whole new laptop!

I have had it now for 10+ years, it still works like it did when it was new : EXCELLENTLY! Easy to load, easy to use, and very powerful and durable. Mine has my hane wrote on it, and if you use it - you BETTER PUT IT BACK; it does have a home ;)

I have purchased Scotch brand heavy duty tape for years to ship packages to my family. I purchased a 38.2 yd heavy duty 20x stronger roll again today but unfortunately, while wrapping the large package, the tape ripped in my hands a number of times. Totally disappointed and surprised. I hope it is just a bad batch. 0 51131 96134 0

It was falling off like nothing. And I went and bought this tape and till this day it hasn't fallen off. In fact I tried to lift up some times and it's so sticked on to the box that the box paper started to give way and tear. It's the best tape in the market!

Scotch, what did you do to your "tape"?! It won't stick to anything, let alone the box I'm trying to seal. I've used your tape in the past without an issue. Should have had a recall. (no receipt though, never thought I'd need to take you up on your guarantee)

I had a half a roll of packing tape & when I went to use it... it wasn’t sticky at all.. I could not finish my project & I was beyond mad!! I was depending on that tape & it let me down! I’m highly disappointed & considering switching to a different brand.

This heavy duty shipping tape feels like a better quality tape I used 2 pieces didn't worry and package made it to my son okay.It sticks better than any other I have tried. I LOVE IT.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape with Dispenser is outstanding! The tape itself is so sturdy that it gives me complete confidence when sending packages in the mail, by courier, or even for storage purposes. I honestly feel better knowing I am using Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Tape. The dispenser is, well, dispensable! *LOL* It makes it so convenient you do not have to worry about scissors. Now, if you are like me and sometimes finish your taping work a the post office, this is the most convenient way to use the tape. I love this product!
