[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It wraps and seals well. If that were my only criterion, I'd give it five stars. However, it is virtually impossible to re-thread the tape. I just gave up: I rip off what I need and apply it manually. If only instructions were available (sigh!). That being the case, it's completely useless to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is super grippy. It is easy to tear from the roll. I used this to reinforce a cardboard box filled with heavy books for shipping. This is definitely universal on any surface. Very easy to handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this tape, I love the handy cutter Attachment. I always have to carry scissors to cut pieces of tape when using it on a package. I used it on my package that was busting at the seems to test the heavy duty part. The tape itself is thick. The stickiness works well. Just make sure to press it down on the box to stick it well. Usually I use too much tape bc i am not sure it would stay stuck. Well I let this sit in a humid room for a weekend before sending it on Monday. It stayed stuck and looked great.

I use this tape regularly and wont buy it again as I have had poor adhesion on boxes . I purchase new boxes and I make them use them and a week later the tape is curled up and completely seperated from the cardboard . The actual tape is stronger than other brands but the adhesive does not adhere to cardboard it must be some kind of enviormentally friendly garbage that does not stick . Give me some tape with chemicals that stick I dont care if its toxic I am not eating it .

I was in need of packing/shipping tape that would actually STICK to the various shipping materials I use, and Stay stuck. Scotch® Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape works better than I ever could have hoped for. I run an online retail shop and usually need to pack and ship multiple packages a day. This tape is the ONLY tape I've found (and believe me I've tried them all) that actually WORKS. I only need one strip to seal a box top securely, due to the tapes extra durable thickness. No more 'X' pattern across box tops, no more going through a roll of tape every few days. I am SO grateful I found this tape, and I HIGHLY recommend I for anyone who packs & ships things on a regular basis. You'll never go back to another brand.

The tape is very strong and the adhesive very good without leaving a tacky feeling on my fingers if I touch it. I definitely recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best packing tape ever. You never have to worry that it's going to come off. And you don't need to do multiple passes over it to be sure. Just one strip across the the opening and it's done. The cutter makes it convenient too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mostly use the Heavy Duty Packing Tape to repackage purchases for return shipping. For that purpose it works great. It seals securely and I trust the seal will hold through all the handling of shippers. As long as the tape stays fed through the dispenser, all is good. If the end slips out and the tape sticks back to itself, it is difficult to peel up again in one piece.
