Forty years ago I had stomach issues. A friend recommended Carnation to try to settle my stomach and I have used it for now 40 years. It tastes good (Choclate) gives me a few hours of energy and keeps my belly happy. One drink with milk in the morning does the trick

I've been drinking these almost every morning for a -long- time and I REALLY like them. They give me the boost I need to get to lunch and are very easy to make. The only downside for me is they have a fair amount of sugar in them, but not a ton. Other than that, they're great.

My MIL's doctor suggested we get one of the bottled Protein Drinks; check it out, they are expensive. While you're checking stuff out check out what's in "Carnation Breakfast Essentials"; it's awesome. The bottled Protein Drinks have a bit more Protein than this does, but for the price this stuff is AWESOME! And the best thing is my MIL Loves "Carnation Breakfast Essentials"; I highly recommend it, both Vanilla and Chocolate.

I drink this almost daily. I’m pregnant and feel It gives me a little boost in the afternoon when I’m feeling sluggish. If you like chocolate milk why not choose this and get the added vitamins and nutrients while having a treat. Plus it helps being preportioned. It says to mix with 1 cup of milk but I always do 1 1/2 bc I like things less sweet.

Doctor ordered an expensive daily supplement over a year ago. Drank it twice daily as ordered. One day compared the supplement ingredients to Instant Breakfast exact same vitamins and minerals (this product does have more sugar). Doctor agreed to 2 of these daily to meet my health needs with whole milk. Been using this product daily since then and saving tons of money!

Easy to order. Quick delivery. Grocery stores in my area no longer carry my favorite original Carnation Instant Breakfast packets, only much more expensive ones with added protein. It was such a relief to find my favorite at Sam's. Great value for good price!

Easy and quick nutritional supplement. I first started using this years ago when I had a tooth knocked out while playing football and could not eat any solid food for 6 weeks while the tooth healed. I only wish they still sold the vanilla in the same sizing.

Great way to skip breakfast. I hate eating in the morning, but need something before lunch. One of these shakes and I do not have to eat until lunch, a much more civilized time to eat. I have been drinking these shakes on and off for almost twenty-five years. I do not let my younger kids have them for breakfast, but I have recommended them to my college student if he needs a pick me up.

I Recently purchased the vanilla flavored carnation breakfast mix. The vanilla flavor is my favorite and it is harder to find especially in the book packages. I like the increased nutrients that you will find inside of the mix with milk rather than just milk. My main recommendation is to mix with whole milk instead of skim milk.

When I’m hungry mid morning or mid afternoon, this is the perfect answer. Also, my doctor wants me to increase my calcium intake which this does. One 8 oz glass prepared with skim milk provides 500 mg of calcium. I like the vanilla flavor which is 220 calories per 8oz Glass.
