My husband was bedridden and requested this instant breakfast to give him protein and other nutrients. I only wish that you had the other flavors boxed like the chocolate. It is a good price and not easy to find in other stores. I am grateful that I was able to get it at Sam’s!

Due to Sam's Club greed I had to down grade my yearly membership because Sam's is going to start charging $8 for shipping for online orders of less than $50. This is not necessary because the membership fee has increased also. Many members are doing the same thing that I am doing! Not a good decision on Sams part.

I've been a fan of Carnation Breakfast Essentials (it used to be called Instant Breakfast) for around 65 years - no kidding. I'm 77 and I started using it in about 1958. It and I have been around for a long time. I used it originally as a breakfast substitute. Now I use it at night before going to bed as a night snack to cushion the maximum OTC dose of Naproxen and avoid stomach pains. The formula was changed recently and I think it's smoother and has a bit better chocolate flavor than before. I mix it with a cup of 1% milk. That makes it creamy and doesn't add a lot of liquid before bedtime. Sam's price for a box of 30 envelopes is unbeatable, and I always keep a spare box on the shelf.

This is the only item that I regularly purchase from Sam's. It USED TO be regularly available at my location. Bottomline I absolutely will not be buying 6 at a time just to receive free shipping. If you can't stock it, send it for free

My mom bought this for me when I was in high school. Now i buy it for my granddaughter. Sometimes she skips breakfast and this is a healthy alternative when theres no time to eat a good breakfast or if shes just not hungry.

I love that my 11yr old likes the way this tastes and it provides nutritional needs for him! He’s so picky! When I realized he loved them, I ordered a few boxes!!!

I used to be able to buy this in vanilla flavored but my Sam's Club now only carries chocolate. I was able to buy it online but had to pay over $5 for shipping, the reason for only 4 stars. It was great to taste the vanilla again, I only wish my store would carry it.

Love Carnation, I could buy another box of Carnation. With what I am charged for shipping since Sam's don't want to carry in store now. That is why a one star. They leave the Nesquik which doesn't have as good ingredients as Carnation.

The powder clumps up despite a lot of vigorous stirring. In the end, I'm always scooping up clumps of unmixed powder from the bottom of my glass. Yeah, I'm "eating" my drink. Not cool. Won't be buying this anymore.
