This is good chocolate milk. The only drawback is that it can be hard to stir well enough so that no lumps remain at the bottom. If you mix it in a hand-held shaker it does well. My adult children like it.

This is the best thing ever. My son is non verbal Autistic and very picky when it comes to food and flavor but not with breakfast essential he absolutely loves it and it's good for him with all the added Vitamins.

I used to be able to purchase in the store. It was a big seller. Now you have to pay shipping to purchase it and you can no longer buy in the store.

Easy to dissolve in milk. The only thing I didn't care for was I could only purchase vanilla flavor. Wished we could get strawberry or chocolate, too.

Always have these in my pantry. I use Braum’s skim milk so I actually get 18 grams of protein per glass. It has more sugar than I would like, but since I use it as an occasional meal replacement, I’m okay with it. I’ve recently started using a milk/coffee stick frother to mix it and it makes a huge difference! Still great mixed just with a spoon, but so creamy with the frother!!

Buying for a parent that needs the calories and protein to maintain (and gain) weight. This provides similar nutritional value as ensure (or generic) but without the plastic (single use) waste (less household trash/recycling, less storage space used and lighter). These can also be served as “hot chocolate” which helps them mix and is more like a hot meal, adds some variety, etc. (ensure notes that it should not be heated.). This is a better price per pack (except maybe outside of sale prices) and also better use of packaging (one box-30 envelopes).

Product is what it is. It used to be on clearance at my local Sam's, but now is only online. Don't know if Carnation is discontinuing the powdered product in favor of the much more expensive bottled version. It took a while to get it shipped out of the warehouse.

My husband is on a liquid diet and his dietitian recommended using Instant breakfast to make his meal shakes. This gives him the vitamins, protein and calories he needs to maintain his weight. He prefers the vanilla but unfortunately that has not been in stock but has accepted the milk chocolate in place of it. Since I use three of these a day I am so happy that I can get it at a much better price at Sams than I can anywhere else.

I like the Carnation Breakfast Essentials Nutritional Drink in the chocolate flavor because it provides a large of protein to provide a pick-me-up shop. The box of 30 packets provides me a month of drinks at an economical price. Great flavor. Quick boost with one cup of cold milk in a shaker cup, shake it up and drink.

I’ve loved Carnation Breakfast Drink ever since I was a kid. I still love them. I drink them on days when I am unable to have breakfast. They are delicious! They give me that extra boost of energy to keep me going all day. Oh, the chocolate one is like eating a chocolate candy bar. So good!
