I really wasn't expecting this to be very good sausage gravy but decided to give it a try. It's a very good value and we get two big meals out of this can. My husband and son both said it's about the best they've tasted. Full of sausage and the gravy is very creamy. They love their bisquits and gravy and this fits the bill apparently I'm not able to cook any more so things like this are great.

My husband loves his sausage gravy and biscuits, and this brand he especially likes. It’s not too salty like some can be. Makes it easy for me, because all I have to do is make him some homemade biscuits. I portion off this huge can and freeze Individual amounts, so then all I have to do is pull out one at a time.

AMAZINGLY GREAT!! AS GOOD AS HOMEMADE & THICK TOO! I'm thrilled with how great it is! I tried it because the reviews were so good but I am so surprised that it's better than I imagined it would be! I immediately ordered more so I won't run out. It's better than McDonald's or any fast food restaurant. Not quite as good as homemade but so much easier I will never go to the trouble for just myself. I love having it for my own breakfast. Can't recommend it enough!! Must try it to believe it!!

Chef mate sausage gravy is a superior product. I used it all the years I was in the convenience store business for my sausage and gravy biscuits. My customers couldn’t believe it when I told them, it was chef mate, they all thought that it was homemade.

This gravy is fantastic. I actually picked it up in the store one day while gathering items for Bosses day breakfast at my office. we were serving about 35 people and I was to bring biscuits and Gravy. I saw this and thought it would certainly be easier than making it from scratch. I opened the can and put it in my crock pot to heat and serve and was amazed at how good it was. i received many compliments on it. I did not have the heart to tell everyone it came from a can. I have served it at various family breakfasts and now buy a can and measure out smaller quantities into bags with my food saver and freeze them. I can then just get out how ever many packages I need at one time. You won't be sorry you tried it. I have recommended it to several family members that now buy it for their families too.

I have ordered this item twice, each time ordering two cans. Three of those four cans were badly dented, to the point that I sent them back. These cans were poorly wrapped for shipment; other cans of other items I've ordered have arrived in ok shape. Not sure why someone hasn't read these numerous complaints about dented cans and changed how they are wrapped. With a 75% dented can rate with my orders, I won't order them again unless/until I see reviews indicating the problem has been addressed. I'd have given them zero stars if I could have. Waste of time and money.

Decent gravy if you like canned gravy brands like Libby's and great value brand. It's flavor is very mild, so if you like a lot of flavor you'll need to spice it up. Overall i think it's a good option if you have a lot of people to feed, especially if some like gravy plain and others doctored up, as you could divide it and flavor it for different palates. *Note: don't use a safe edge can opener, the ones that remove the lid without sharp edges.. .it broke mine in one turn.

Been acting this gravy for a long time now. Waaaay better than all the others I’ve tried. This stuff is creamy and uses real sausage. I started using this when I ordered sausage gravy and biscuits in one of the breakfast lunch restaurants and asked the waitress if they made homemade gravy and she said they used this stuff. She was right the taste is the same. Too bad Sam’s doesn’t carry Pillsberry frozen biscuits, I have to buy them elsewhere or make mine from scratch to get the right flavor/texture.

The nutritional info on the description is wrong, the picture of the label is blurred so you can’t see the ACTUAL nutritional info as it appears on the can. I got this because I’m counting carbs, online says 2 per serving but it’s actually 4. Disappointing wrong info!

I am excited to find this product at Walmart. Com.. I love being able to just heat and eat delicious sausage gravy like restaurants serve. The price is reasonable compared with buying all the ingredients needed to make a gallon of sausage gravy. I am buying again.
