This sausage gravy saves so much time when making breakfast! And we love this sausage gravy, so delicious over biscuits. My husband loves to have this on hand when he makes breakfast for company. I know it’s a large amount to buy, but I simply divide it up into freezer bags and freeze until needed. Pull frozen gravy out the night before to thaw in frig, microwave in the morning- easy peasy.

Doesn't taste as good as home made. Has a little bit of a "been canned for a long time" taste. We bought this large can by mistake online. We bought some smaller and normal cans with the idea that this would be a quick and convenient breakfast over toast and maybe an egg. Someone does have a favorable view since it is still being sold but we won't buy again.

my hubby and I are enjoying Chef-mate country sausage gravy. Since retiring and making breakfast more at home, I open the can and freeze in portion sizes and heat easy when we want them. Almost like my homemade but easier to do and gives us another option for us.

I am excited to find this product at Walmart. Com.. I love being able to just heat and eat delicious sausage gravy like restaurants serve. The price is reasonable compared with buying all the ingredients needed to make a gallon of sausage gravy. I am buying again.

Decent gravy if you like canned gravy brands like Libby's and great value brand. It's flavor is very mild, so if you like a lot of flavor you'll need to spice it up. Overall i think it's a good option if you have a lot of people to feed, especially if some like gravy plain and others doctored up, as you could divide it and flavor it for different palates. *Note: don't use a safe edge can opener, the ones that remove the lid without sharp edges.. .it broke mine in one turn.

Been acting this gravy for a long time now. Waaaay better than all the others I’ve tried. This stuff is creamy and uses real sausage. I started using this when I ordered sausage gravy and biscuits in one of the breakfast lunch restaurants and asked the waitress if they made homemade gravy and she said they used this stuff. She was right the taste is the same. Too bad Sam’s doesn’t carry Pillsberry frozen biscuits, I have to buy them elsewhere or make mine from scratch to get the right flavor/texture.

I am no professional, I am a consumer. I am also a disabled senior, nearly completely home-bound. This gravy is amazing, at 4g carbs/serv. The absolute greatest of my worries with this gravy was how I would be able to store all of it. The can is HUGE! Well, after 3 stackable storage containers full, I was able to stuff the rest in the fridge and I couldn't be happier than clam dip. The flavor is as close to homemade as I have ever gotten out of a can. I use a little red and black pepper while heating, and sometime a little garlic as well. Couldn't ask for a better value in these tragically difficult times. Kudos, Walmart! You have definitely improved your service to your customers, and restored my faith in online shopping with you. This is honestly my overall best experience I have had in the past 6 years. ***AND*** delivered 3 days before XMAS! Two Thumbs Up (wish I had more thumbs hehe)!!!

LOVE THIS SAUSAGE GRAVY. WISH THEY WOULD KEEP IT IN STOCK AT WENTZVILLE LOCATION SAMS. ALOT OF SAUSAGE CHUNKS AND GRAVY IS VERY TASTEE ON BISCUITS AND EGGS. I EVEN PUT SMALL AMOUNTS IN FREEZER CONTAINERS AND PULL OUT AND THAW WITH STILL THE SAME GREAT TASTE.

It tastes just like I made it without the fuss! I tried a couple through the last 30 yrs %26 gave up %26 stuck to making my own from a recipe I got from a sweet southern woman. One day, one of my friends from Louisiana told me how she went to brunch %26 helped clean up %26 there sat a large empty can of Chefmate Sausage Gravy %26 she asked the minister's wife whether that was the sausage gravy she had served with the biscuits %26 she told her it surely was %26 she had been using that for years. My friends stopped making her own %26 now i have also. It is a large amount, but it is less than $12. I take out what I need %26 heat it up in a saucepan %26 the rest goes in Tupperware. I have a neighbor next door %26 I put a good amount in a container %26 gift some to them also. I use the rest up through the week between biscuits %26 gravy, bread up some cube steaks %26 fry them %26 have a bit of gravy on them %26 on mashed potatoes. It is cost-effective for one person for 6 days. I can imagine it would be for a family also. Chefmate has other items that are restaurant/homemade quality items I want to try, but my local Wal-Mart doesn't carry them. All in all, it's a great purchase. Next best thing to homemade!

This gravy is fantastic. I actually picked it up in the store one day while gathering items for Bosses day breakfast at my office. we were serving about 35 people and I was to bring biscuits and Gravy. I saw this and thought it would certainly be easier than making it from scratch. I opened the can and put it in my crock pot to heat and serve and was amazed at how good it was. i received many compliments on it. I did not have the heart to tell everyone it came from a can. I have served it at various family breakfasts and now buy a can and measure out smaller quantities into bags with my food saver and freeze them. I can then just get out how ever many packages I need at one time. You won't be sorry you tried it. I have recommended it to several family members that now buy it for their families too.
