[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Old El Paso refried beans whether it be the traditional ones or the vegetarian ones or the fat free ones. I put them in a sauce pan, add some milk (or heavy cream if I have it on hand) add some cheese, usually provolone (sometimes Swiss) add some cumin, or taco seasoning, and melt it down. It is delicious always!

Serve over a foundation of refried beans for a hearty meal that goes further. Other store brands have a distinct aftertaste. Old El Paso beans are the best!

It has great texture when combining it with our self made burritos, We also like the refried beans with chilles includeed in them. The flavor gives everything a " Kick" while not overwhelming the other flavors.

My wife and I heated up a can of refried beans and took a taste. Horrible chemical taste. We thought something was wrong with the can. Seriously, it tasted like we were poisoned or the liner of the can leeched plastic into the beans. Expiration date was fine. Glad, at least, to see others with this problem so we don’t panic that something is terribly wrong. Just horrible refried beans. Used to love them.

I usually heat them up throw a little seasoning to my liking stir in some queso fresco and once cooked top it off with some More queso fresco. Heat up some corn tortillas spread the refried beans and add my meats veggies etc etc and we have the perfect taco
