[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Old El Paso refried beans. I use them mainly for making beef and bean burritos or nachos. The smooth consistency make these beans very easy to spread or mix with other ingredients. Definitely thumbs up!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These refried beans are great. I use them all the time in my taco dip. I mix 1 can with 1 pkg cream cheese and spread in the bottom of casserole dish. Add a layer of your favorite salsa and a little chopped cilantro. Next add a layer of taco meat and top with a Mexican cheese blend and bake 30 minutes at 350*. Server with tortilla chips, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives or whatever toppings you like.

I opened a can of these beans that I bought today. I drained at least 1/4 cup of oil out of the can before I could warm them! They look just like liquid baby food. Impossible to use in our burritos! No one person would eat them. I am highly disappointed in Ole El Paso beans! All your other products were superb.

Depending on the store I purchase the can at, sometimes the can isn’t full. Not sure if the manufacturer gets lazy at some point during the process but a few times the can has been shorted.

We used to eat these frequently when we were first married. Absolutely loved them. Then something happened....I have given them three more tries and each time they lacked any flavor! I tried adding spices and it still doesn't fix the problem. They are inedible! I don't know why you would have changed something that was so good and made it taste horrible!

I bought these and the green chili ones to use in burritos. The green chili ones tasted and smelled fine. When I opened the traditional however, ugh! It smelled like plastic and tasted even worse! I had to throw it out and all the burritos I had made with them. The green chilling ones were fine for some reason-smelled good, tasted fine. Seriously, I didn’t expect to be completely grossed out by refried beans, but here we are…
