[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old El Paso refried beans has a great taste, They are great mixed inside tacos, burritoes or just to eat alone. They are as good as the picture looks on the can, try some today!! YUM! I recommend this product!

I bought these a while back, and until I opened the first can, I didn’t realize I had opinions on refried beans. To me, in general, refried beans are always tasty, reliably delicious. Now, I realize how wrong I was. The cans said New Recipe! My entire family, with the exception of the 9 month old baby (who doesn’t know any better!), refuses to eat it because it’s gross. If you can put it inside something that will mask the flavor, it’s adequate, but otherwise, don’t waste your money. Get some beans that actually taste good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Old El Paso's traditional refried beans. I use it for breakfast and lunches heat it up place a soft taco wrap cover with refried beans add cheese place another wrap on top and make a quesadilla. Yummy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy and use this style and brand of refried beans for my Mexican-style baked dîshes. It holds up well to the heat and mixing/stirring, plus I can choose to not use additional added salt for my dish; the sodium in this product is rather high. For a stand alone side dish of beans the flavor is a little bland so I prefer to use a different brand or make my own pinto beans from scratch and “refry.” I recommend this product for the cook that’s short on time or new to the kitchen and looking for a quick and acceptable ingredient or addition to their meal.

I cant believe how disgusting this new recipe is!!!!! my son doesn't eat meat so every taco night he has had these beans, for years now.... Until Now ! I don't even know were to begin ,the smell is nauseating an the taste i cant even explain!! Please Please go back to the old YUMMY recipe!!!!!!!!

This is the last can i will buy until the recipe consistency is changed i have been eating these since i was a toddler i i i I am now 39 yrs old. They are watery/soupy cant use for burritos or nachos or bean dip Awful. This brand was a family staple at our table. Its sad we will have to change after all these years

I just make steak nachos and put your decried beans on the chips before topping and broiling. we spent an hour making guacamole, chopping ingredients and cooking the steak- they looked magnificent for our nacho night! One bite and I told everyone to stop and taste the beans, they tasted like a sour wet sponge smells…it was terrible. We fished out the can to inspect it closer- if I could guess what botulism tasted like I was sure it was this! It’s so foul I threw dinner away VS risking poisoning my family. What a waste. I actually looked up refried bean recall and then searched the internet for old El Paso refried beans to find these comments- hard to believe you haven’t resolved this, will not ever purchase again and maybe you should do something different than your courtesy response like go grab a can out of the warehouse and give it a try- GROSS

Ugh, I ordered this because I wasn't seeing the Rosarita beans listed at the time. I figured, how hard can it be to mess up refried beans. The beans are watery (like literal liquid in the can when opening it) and have a weird taste. Now I need to find someone to take 5 cans off my hands. Thank goodness the Rosaritas showed back up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a major fan of refried beans though I prefer them alongside rice and with a little queso on top. These taste exactly like the kind you get in restaurants though, so I'd def recommend if you enjoy them. This is the go-to brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old El Paso Traditional Refried Beans were a convenient addition to our pulled pork nachos. I cannot speak as to how they would be on their own, but with additions such as cheese, salsa, and jalapenos the beans contributed to a tasty dish.
