Idk what happened to the Refried beans. If you didn't change the recipe, you've poisoned us with some disgusting chemicals in your new location. They taste horrid. If you tasted them yourself, surely you'd be embarrassed to distribute them. I'll never buy ANY old el paso product in the future.

We used to eat these frequently when we were first married. Absolutely loved them. Then something happened....I have given them three more tries and each time they lacked any flavor! I tried adding spices and it still doesn't fix the problem. They are inedible! I don't know why you would have changed something that was so good and made it taste horrible!

The refried bean are alway easy to prepare and delicious on both tacos and enchilada. The can was very fresh and delicious and easy to prepare.I also love love the easy to open can. I would absolutely recommend this item to everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would love this Very bland, no flavor, I had to add a lot to make them taste good enough for everyone to eat. Tastes like mashed up pinto beans and no other flavors. Texture is almost whipped, with some whole beans thrown in.

Old El Paso refried beans helps satisfy my craving when not visiting Mexico or my local Mexican restaurant. I noticed that the Old El Paso refried are thicker than the restaurant style which actually make then better for burritos that I make at home. I would recommend this product.

They are a mixture of smooth bean paste mixed with pieces of chopped up bean. They have a thicker consistency and a fantastic taste. I love them in a traditional taco or to just make a bean and cheese burrito.

I was in the military so I’ve had some pretty horrible food and rarely complain about food. But If it came down to eating these beans or not eating anything at all, I’d rather not eat. Everyone in the recipe and product testing department needs to be fired. These are beyond horrible. Strong foul chemical taste.

Serve over a foundation of refried beans for a hearty meal that goes further. Other store brands have a distinct aftertaste. Old El Paso beans are the best!
