[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old el paso brand is a I have trusted for over a decade. The refried beans pair up great for taco night at my house. Quick,easy and delicious, I always add a table spoon of cream cheese to my refried beans and mix. It's so good .

However, for a quick fix or a fun family taco night, old el paso does the job. It's the only brand of canned refried beans I'll buy if I'm doing a super quick dinner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the texture and the taste. Some brands are very bland but this was really good. Also, instead of being all “mush” it still had some actual beans in it. We like to spread on our soft tacos or mix with rice.

I am literally crying right now... I'm a transplant Texan that .....since I'm in Florida nowadays.....really looks forward to my traditional Texican foods. And I guess my first impulse was like everyone else's- that the can I just bought was somehow bad. But I guess my days of relying on Old El Paso are over for now, so so sorry to say.

My first review was declined. I’ll get straight to the point this time. The can of refried beans tasted toxic (plastic, chemical, inedible). I was scared that something was wrong. Turns out, others have had the same problem. Just want to go on record.

DO NOT BUY THESE BEANS!!! I wish I could give zero stars. I tried them out for the first time. Did a quick taste test once they were warm and it tasted like I ate a mouthful of straight chemicals. It left a HORRENDOUS after taste in my mouth. Checked the date of expiration and it said they don’t expire for another year! I had my fiancé try it to make sure it wasn’t just me and he almost threw up! I chucked them. I had another can I bought at a different location which was also “fresh” and not expired, opened them and no shocker those ones also smelt the same with a rotten odor of chemicals. Had to throw out both. I won’t be shocked if I get sick from the one bite I had. THESE BEANS NEED TO BE BANNED!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG WITH OLD ELPASO. We take these and mix with Jalepano bits and juice and spread on a soft taco shell, put shredded cheese on and put taco shells in oven to cook for about 15 minutes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite brand of refried beans. Great taste and the brand even has a vegetarian option. Perfect for when I don't feel like cooking from scratch. I have recommended this product and buy it on a regular basis.

My kids and I used to love these beans. We made them every Taco Tuesday and also used them to make bean burritos, tostadas and so much more. The new recipe is inedible. Please switch back to the old recipe. In the meantime we won't be buying anymore.

I was worried when I opened the beans and poured them into a bowl because they were so runny, but decided to go ahead with them since they were all I had. Upon my first bite I could tell something was off but couldn't pinpoint it until I stuck my finger in the beans and almost gagged! The taste was awful! It tasted like burnt plastic, very chemically. I'm worried about food poisoning! I noticed that it is the same batch as a similar bad review. Maybe it was a bad batch?
