We enjoy using these refried beans as a side to enchiladas and tacos. Quick and easy to wrap with shredded cheese in a low-carb tortilla, microwave, and have a fast, nutritious snack to go.

I recommend this product it’s a 10/10 for me and I’m sure others would agree with me as well. If you haven’t tried this brand yet, you need too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these refried beans! Perfect base on a tostado. Great as a side dish. A stick to your ribs kind of food. Add chili and cheese and turn them into a main dish as well. Use them as a dip for tortilla chips. Just heat and eat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brand is very good. With all canned beans, we always cook for awhile to take away the canned taste. We also add diced onions and taco sauce to these refried beans, and towards the end we add cheese until melted. These beans are consistently great!

We have been buying this this brand for years and have in the past always liked it, however the last two cans we bought and opened were nothing bit brown water with no beans in them whatsoever so ever. Needless to say our dinner meal was partially ruined both times and we are now planning on switching to another bantams of beans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these all the time. Fritos dipped in the beans with sour cream is a good snack. Always a side with a Mexican dinner. Use in Taco salad, burritos and tacos, wouldn’t taste good without them. Love a side of beans with enchilada sauce sprinkled with cheddar cheese.

It also has a few whole beans mixed in with the smashed beans which makes it look even more “homemade”and I like that type texture. I have been purchasing this brand of refried beans for yrs and will continue to!! I have recommended this product to friends .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They’re just OKAY refried beans. If you’re in a hurry, or not picky…they’ll do. They’re definitely not the best brand I’ve found and I use a lot of refried beans. They come out of the can kind of soft and wet like they had too much liquid left before they were canned and sealed. Flavor wise they’re passable. You won’t hate them, but they’re unremarkable. 4/10.

What the heck?! I've been buying Old El Paso Refried Beans for forever. I went to the grocery store yesterday and bought two cans. Both were runny when I opened them. The taste was adequate but not like before. Hard to make beef/bean burritos when the refried beans are like soup. I see by other reviews this has been going on for a long time. Guess I'll buy another brand unless you can up your game and bring back the refried beans like they were before. As info, my cans were marked with 230 and expiration date of 21 Jan 2024
