[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old El Paso is the only brand of refried beans that I buy. I especially appreciate they do a vegetarian version as well. Old El Paso refried beans taste great! And my family would agree! I use them when making tacos, burritos, tostadas, and fajitas. They add such great flavor! I've tried other brands over the years but none of them taste as good as Old El Paso brand. Even the vegetarian version (which is the only one my daughter will eat) is very flavorful and tastes the same as their traditional version.

The taste has completely changed to where they have an unusual salty flavor taste that takes over and I have had to change brands. I thought maybe I just got 1 bad can but I visited my sister in a different state and she had them for dinner one night and they still tasted horrible. What happened?? :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are from Texas, like I am, refried beans are a must for any Taco Tuesday, or any other day you have a Mexican inspired dinner. Used as a base on nachos or as side refried beans are a must. While I prefer making my own, this is a great time saver.

These were my go to refried beans. We eat a lot of Tex-mex so I buy several cans a week. The last two times they did not taste right, and I thought I got a bad batch. It looks like lots of others are having the same experience. Please bring back the original recipe or I'm unfortunately going to have to find a new brand.

I was using these beans for a layer dip and took one bite of them and had to spit it out and I threw away the rest of the entire dish which is worth about &30 of rotelle Velveeta Ground beef pico to Gallo and all my time it was disgusting what is wrong with these beans they taste almost like something that’s gone bad

I made small street tacos with beans, cheese, salsa and a bit of sour cream. The beans make for a very easy quick supper or snack and still pack a hit of protein.

We have traveled to Mexico dozens of times and we find this brand to resemble the taste that we enjoy when we travel there. We prefer the traditional version and like to mix it with onions ground beef and chorizo. Nothing tops old El Paso refried beans!
