This espresso machine produces great coffee drinks, especially when using the automatic whole-bean grinder! I t's a bit complicated to master all the options — amount of water, fineness of grind, water temp for brewing, etc. So it's very worthwhile reading the whole user manual. But the results are a great reward!

The espresso maker is good, the only draw back is it spill the grounded coffee here and there inside the chamber make it not that easy to clean. But I was so disappointed with the milk frothing wand. I cannot get a lot small bubbles and even after more than one minute, the taste of milk is not good. I tried even with whole milk, but that doesn't improve anything. Compare with my 5 years old Nespresso-DeLonghi machine, that did a much better milk frothing job, and I don't need to hold the cup for 1 minute.

We've only had it a couple weeks but we are loving it so far... It's very simple to figure out how to use it and to maintain and once we started playing around with the settings we are loving the smooth coffee it produces so much more than our kuerig and way more cost effective even when we are buying good organic beans!

I replaced a Saeco espresso machine with this De'Longhi. After about a month of use, I am happy with it. It makes good espresso and has had no problems. The bean hopper is a bit small (not that big of a deal for me). I like that it can use ground coffee in the event that someone wants decaf or a different flavor coffee. My only real complaint is that the power save mode can't be disabled. It has several settings, but 3 hours is the longest that it will stay on. It then does a rinse cycle and shuts off. To make another espresso, you have to turn the machine back on, wait for it to warm up (about 30 sec), and wait for it to go through another rinse cycle. The recurrent rinse cycles causes the water tank to have to be refilled more often.

I was looking for an automatic cappuccino/coffee maker that included a coffee grinder. Now, I can brew the perfect cup from whole beans with the push of a button. This machine is compact and well made and very easy to maintain. The price at Sam's was excellent! A great buy for a great coffee maker!
