No complaints so far. We've only had it a couple of weeks. Wish it were black or stainless and a little bit larger, but it fits our space perfectly and it is easy to find things inside it unlike a chest freezer. It is also quiet and keeps food at the perfect temperature.

Bought this one in 2020 during pandemic lockdown, couple months ago it started loud knocking noise in the compressor compartment. Turned off for a while and turned back on. It appeared to run normally but a few hours later the loud noise started to kick in. Trying several times same issue keeps occurring. Would you like to buy a product just last about a year. Your money your choice. I picked this product brand because there was no freezer available in the market. Ordering online took months for delivery.

i bought this about 2 years ago and defrosted it last summer and two weeks ago went to get something out and it had stopped working and all items in it were no longer frozen. We lost all items which included bags of chicken wings, a turkey, lots of frozen veggies, ice cream, frozen meals. we had it in our garage and have a generator so wasn't due to loss of power. would not buy again

Like many others, I bought this freezer and it stopped working less then a year after I purchased it. It freezers over like crazy and also leaks. The door won’t stay attached either. I emptied the unit and defrosted it, cleaned it and also purchased a door lock. Nothing is working. I regret spending the money on this, but I really needed a freezer to get me through the middle of the pandemic in 2020. Do not buy this! Pay attention to the reviews. I’ll be staying away from this brand completely.

I loved sam's all the way up until Sep 19,2019, when my freezer arrived to my home, it came well packed but once i opened the box, my freezer looked like it was thrown around, it has lots of dents and all the plastic trimming above the front door was badly damaged and on the rear bottom of the freezer was also damaged badly, i did not return the freezer because it is just too much for me to handle because of my back surgery that i had at the time, that will be the very last time i ever order anything online with Sam's

I just lost a freezer full of food. This is so hurtful and disappointing. At first the top 2 shelves went out. I followed all instructions.Then it kept frosting up inside. Now it has stopped working entirely, less than a year after purchase. I love the size, but not losing a freezer full of food and the purchase cost. Something is terribly wrong with this product. I was expecting it to last many years. I told my family my freezer had gone out, they responded, didn't you just buy it earlier this year? I am so disappointed and upset. And embarrassed that I have to purchase another freezer so soon.

I purchased 06-01-23, today is 06-06-23 and freezer is not working. We unboxed on Saturday and brought into house on Sunday. Let sit in place for several hours, plugged in and went to bed. Monday AM not cold at all and called Thomson service. #1 there was so much noise in background I could barely her the Lady. I was placed on hold twice while she communicated with Tech support and followed directions. Got up this AM still not cold and now will only stay on for a few seconds. I thought I had a warranty on unit but was told no Sams will have to replace unit!! I paid $46.00 to have freezer picked up hopeful Sams will help me! What good is a warranty if they don't have anyone to come service unit(s)!

Purchased at my local club today. Took it home. Down the basement stairs and unboxed. WOW! The door fell in my lap. I thought "what the heck?". I tried for over an hour to affix the door to the freezer. Impossible!! The manufacturer sure does not have the right specs for this freezer to be assembled for use. The sleeve mentioned in teh manual simply is not of correct size to affix the door to the body of the freezer. Unhappy I was. Boxed back up. Back up the basement stairs. Back outside and up into truck. Back to my local club the same day. The freezer is very lightweight and appears to be made very cheap. Definitely not my kind of appliance. My local club was very understanding in granting me a full refund on the spot. I am still happy with Sam's and glad to be a Plus Member. Manufacturer is at fault. I cannot recommend this freezer for purchase.

Perfect size for us. It fits nicely in our garage, is an upright and of good quality. Ours came with a small crack on the top, probably done in shipping, but it did not affect how the unit worked and Sam’s Club took care of us. Great product, great customer service!!!

Bought this unit in-store and transported it upright (Freon). It is cold enough on setting 2. While the unit operates and cools okay, there are a few issues. You have to push firmly to shut and seal the door closed and due to it's light weight (even filled) the unit will move when shutting the door. We have it in a built-in cabinet space originally used for a large wine fridge. The space is deeper than the freezer so we mounted wood 2x2 spacers on the back wall so we can now push the door closed without having the unit move. We would prefer to have the door swing reversed but afraid about ruining the seal. There are also some very sharp edges. Along the bottom of the unit in the back the metal is razor sharp (not an issue except during moving) and the front bottom edge of the shelves are sharp and I have scraped the skin off the back of my hand more than once when removing items. The biggest issue is the high frequency noise of this unit when it runs. It is a high-pitched squeal. We have ordered some noise reducing self adhesive pads having a .92 NRC rating that we will attach to the back wall to see if we can minimize the noise.
