Puch. 11/20/2021. Previously had a 5.5 cu. ft. chest freezer, but was too hard to "FIFO" items stacked inside. So replaced it with this upright, which is much easier organize and manage by shelf. Perfect size for our needs, and economical. FYI for those considering this model: the shelf levels are not adjustable, the refrigerant coils are in each level. Maintains even cold inside without using a fan to circulate air = very quiet. Interior dimensions are 16" wide x 14" deep x 7" high between each shelf, save for the very bottom area which is 16" x 7 1/2" x 9". So not enough room for very large items like a big whole turkey that could go in the same cu. ft. sized chest freezer.

I love this freezer!

Bought, took it home, ensuring the unit stayed upright the entire time. Set up the unit, and allowed it to sit overnight to ensure the compressor oil had settled. Plugged it in, unit appeared to be running correctly, but would not cool. Checked settings, allowed it to run for 24 hours, it never cooled even 1 degree from ambient air temp. Unit is cheaply made, and with the other poor reviews, we knew it was a roll of the dice. Reboxed, and returned for refund. Recommend to stay away from this unit. Be advised this same unit is manufactured under several different brand names: Thomson, Igloo, Kenmore, and Frigidaire.

Poorly Manufactured Units. Read other reviews regarding frosting. I bought one on 04/19/2022. It is now 05/10/2022. It is going back this weekend. Near the upper hinger, the door seal is overlapping and from use is already tearing. The overlap created a gap that is allowing the unit to frost over. I tried calling customer service for warranty work. The first girl sat breathing in to the phone while pretending not to hear me. The second girl couldn't be bothered to listen to my responses to her questions and everything had to keep being repeated, up to the point where she started getting short with me. I found larger unit in another store for the same money. Thanks for the poor quality product & service.

The ONLY issue I have is that the shelves aren't adjustable. You just have to play around and make things fit. I downsized from an 18 cubic foot frigidaire that I LOVED because I am an empty nester with a smaller house now. This gives me just the right amount of freezer storage without taking up a crazy amount of space in the house

We had this freezer LESS than a month when we lost a couple hundred dollars worth of meat! I noticed a water puddle one morning in front of our freezer. When I opened it, every thing was thawed and the freezer was not on! It did NOT come with an owner's manual so I had to look for it online. It said that if the power is out for less than 3 minutes, the freezer may not restart! We had a power outage 3 days before that only lasted a couple of seconds and the freezer did not restart! We did not know about this flaw in the design and had a freezer load of meat thaw on us! We had a bad stormy season this spring and the freezer has not restarted on us TWICE more in the last couple of months! At least we know now to check. NOT HAPPY!

Like many others the top all broken including screw to hold it down. Door seal is totally messed up which makes it ice up like crazy - first 2 shelves were literally one big snow-ice ball within less than a month. Calling customer service means hours of your life wasted and getting disconnected constantly. Not worth it. Oh and now Sam's wont let me upload pics either. Useless all around.

We bought this freezer last year and it worked well... until it didn't. My dogs kept going to our back room and I noticed they kept lapping up a puddle by the freezer. The freezer completely went out and ruined all the food we had stored in it. It's ridiculous it didn't last longer. I definitely don't recommend this cheap freezer, unless you want hundreds of dollars worth of food spoiled. My in-laws bought a used freezer that has survived in their garage for over 30 years.

Fridge seal around the door ripped along the bottom after a year so the door wouldn't close and it stayed closed cause I don't use it much. Came back from a trip and all my food was spoiled cause the door wouldn't stay shut. So the motor burned out... Not great quality!

I originally purchased this freezer in December, followed the setup instructions and after a week of use started to see large cracks on the inside of the door and where the shelves connected. Thought maybe this one was just damaged, took it back and purchased a replacement 4 days ago. After 4 days, the cracks are starting to appear in the new one. They start off by appearing like stress cracks and then you hear a loud pop as the liner breaks. Will be returning and no longer attempt to purchase as this is a very poor build quality.
