I wanted to move the freezer out of the garage and into the laundry room for convenience. So far so good! It holds more than I thought. We even have some of our grandkids breast milk stockpile and still plenty of room for all the other stuff. We needed to change the door swing and the process was very simple. I wasn’t sure how I felt initially about not having shelves on the door, but I think I like it. Having lots of shelves provides room to keep things organized.

This fits perfect in an unused nook we had in our kitchen, and gives us extra freezer space for when I go meat crazy on sales. Once I had it set up I let it sit for a day before plugging it in to a dedicated circuit. After plugging it up, I waited three hours and when I checked it with an infrared thermometer, it was at -6 degrees F through out the freezer. It DOES get warm on the sides, but that's normal. The compressor on this little gem is so quiet (How quiet is it anyways?) that to make sure it is running, I have to put my hand on it. I haven't tried it in a garage but it says you can use it there. I'm happy with it where it is. Well worth the $299 plus tax tha...

We left it sitting upright for 24 hours like one buyer said in her review. Plugged it in and turned it on, so far so good. It does get hot on the side of the freezer, so I'll see how that goes and keep an eye on it. We wanted this so we can stop going to the store so much and freeze the necessities that we use all the time. So far I only have fruit, veggies and bread in the freezer to make sure it works good. I'll update if I have anything else to say. It is a cute little freezer and small enough where it doesn't take up too much space so it's perfect for what we need it for.

I wanted a chest type at first but saw this one and took the chance I would like it. I like the shelves vs stacking things on top of each other. I put it in my kitchen at the end of a counter and it fit perfectly, it has a small footprint vs the chest type of the same size. Note this refrigerator is not recommended for use in an unheated garage, you can read about the specifications in the owners manual for placement suggestions. I put a piece of plywood under the legs so the carpet did not interfere with the stability of the unit. Overall I am very happy with it, it is very quiet.

It’s not bad for the price and I think if the shippers were more careful then it would have come in better shape. It does create a TON of fuzzy ice inside the door and on the edges inside and it has to be scraped daily or it gets too built up. Won’t let me add photos. Will try again later.

I went to my main Sams club and told them that it was damaged and they said to bring in????? Its hard for a 66 year old to just bring in. The damage doesn't seem to effect the freezing (as far as I could tell) and I had purchased many items that needed to be frozen. Also I was not home when it was delivered. For an elder person-I just bit the bullet.

Am still trying to return it but the first freezer that was sent back through Fed Ex hasn't shown up as returned yet. Now I have a second freezer that doesn't work. I think I'll buy another brand.

They were dented, the cooling agent was leaking out & I have had a terrible time talking to representatives to get them returned and refund my money. I have literally talked to people all over the world. some, I could understand, others not so well. They were finally picked up yesterday, 5/30/23. I'm wondering how long until my refunds are credited to my credit card. I was also told I would get an $80 gift card for Sam's. I don't know when that will happen either.

Model # TFRF690 was delivered on 12/6/23. Discovered that freezer lost power on 12/23/23 or earlier. Luckily I discovered this before I lost any perishables. I had not fully stocked the freezer at that point. I checked the outlet by plugging my clothes dryer into it. Clothes dryer worked in the same outlet. This was ordered online from Sam's Club. FedEx delivered but would not pick up because it in not "packaged" for shipment. Sam's Club is in the process of scheduling an alternate company who will pick up freezer as-is. I will let you know how that goes in case you are curious.

I plugged it in and a couple hours later the coils were all iced up . The inside of the door panel was iced up, the outer edges were iced up and there was clumps of ice on the very bottom of the freezer. I have had this freezer for 2 weeks now and its being returned tomorrow. I suspect that the problem might be the gasket seals. My daughter bought one a couple of months ago and she just informed me that they just found out that all the food was defrosted and it appears that the freezer had stopped working.
