I bought this in Nov 2020 and brought it home hoping for great things. It worked fine for a year then I noticed I had to keep increasing the temperature control towards 3 the coldest setting. I opened by freezer to find everything thawed out on 1-6-23. Lost over $300 of food. Knowing this I would not recommend you purchase this freezer as it will not last and your overall cost of the freezer and loss of food would allow you to buy a bigger better freezer than this one.

We opened it upon receipt. There was a large dent in the back of the freezer. The box was not damaged. So it was obviously packed and shipped this way. Very disappointed. It works well, just disappointed that you would ship a damaged item to a customer.

Great purchase!

We bought this freezer to store breast milk. When it came, it was all dented and beat up but we didn’t complain because it was only cosmetic. Well, we have Had it two weeks and it stopped working and all my milk I had saved was ruined. Called to return it. They offered to exchange it. The lady didn’t send the shipping label so I had to call yet again. they also charges my card again until the old one is returned. Would not recommend this product. So disappointing.

I got this freezer 6 or 8 months ago and it stopped working. I tried to contact the company to either refund or fix the freezer but they gave me a hard time. I sent them over 26 pictures and they gave me alot of excuses. This is a bad company and freezer. Don't get this. It's not worth the money or headache. For months back and forth with the company they stopped answering me. If there's anything under a 1 star I would give it. Don't buy this product.

I bought Thomson upright freezer on Nov 8th online. It was delivered about about 2 weeks later. IT NEVER WORKED. The exterior of the freezer was colder than interior when it was plugged. My saga began when I tried to return this item. I was told that, since it was purchased `online, so it can cannot be returned in the store. The return label sent to me was blank. I have calling customer service about 4 times and I was kept on hold for more than 1 hr. I am tired. All I need is my refund!

The freezer worked great for 7 months and then I had to defrost it due to ice build up. When I was done and turned it back on it would not work. I followed all the "troubleshooting Tips" but nothing worked. I tried contacting support but their listed email does not work. Now I'm stuck with a lemon!!!

I purchased the upright freezer 6.5 for $299.99 and the (3) year additional warranty for $35.00 , charged twice, May 16,2022. Four and a half months in I go the retrieve my expensive bag of shrimp to cook only to find over $100.00 of food fully defrost and smelling. I contacted the store manager and reported my lost. The store assistant took my information and said she would call me back, Suggesting I contact the warranty insurance in regards to my lost, but couldn’t provide a email address or phone number. Today (3-26-2022) is a year since I purchased this freezer. It’s been in my garage for 1 year in the Inland Empire of Southern California. Worked great! I get all the reviews where people said it was junk or died on them. But for me it’s been awesome. To be truthful, now that I know there are “garage” freezers I would have one of those, rated for high temps in garage, exterior temp gauge and temp controls. But this little unit worked perfect for 1 year and I hope more. I did by aThermoWorks exterior thermometer with an alarm in case it ever loses temp.

Worked great for the last 11 months, then one day noticed it was running and not cold anymore. We had to move everything out of the freezer. Lost a lot of fish, hamburger and other frozen foods. So. Ow we are stuck with either repairing or spending money on another freezer. Maybe I got a fluke but you would think a freezer would last at least 2 years or so. If anyone reading this had the same problem let me know if you figured out what it was and fixed it.
