Upon opening freezer was dented and delivery person had it laying horizontal in his delivery truck. We let it sit upright for 24 hours, plugged it in and waited 4 hours per instructions. Completely dead, no cooling whatsoever!! Sams club was very good about returning product!!

Great price. Delivered to our home quickly. Is working very well and quietly with temperature being maintained exactly at zero F or less as desired. For the savings in price, we got a wireless monitor to see the temp directly without opening the door.

The Freezer was received with Instructions to complete the Assembly of the door and legs, which proved to be a little difficult as initially I didn’t get the door aligned properly and the Freezer quickly filled with frost. It would have been helpful for more details to have been provided on how to insure that the door was installed properly. Once corrected, the Freezer has performed well.

Package came with whole bottom of the box missing. The top was completely busted and a huge dent in the side. The door was missing pieces and not even attached. So disappointed because the size is perfect and we were wishing it wasn’t handled so poorly shipping.

Ordering online and picking up the freezer was a breeze. Unfortunately when we unpacked it it was damaged and we had to return it and get a new one. It is working as expected, we have only had it a few weeks. I am pleased with the shelves and that the door is reversible.

The size of the upright freezer is convenient for the space that we had selected to place it. The top shelf was off track on one side; I was able to pop it in; hoping that I wouldn’t crack something—it took quite a bit of muscle to pop it in. When sams club employees loaded my freezer into my SUV I was standing on the back of the drivers side; when I got home I noticed that the freezer had been pushed up onto my headliner and had cracked the shell of the headliner. My wife wasn’t too pleased since it was her car and only two years old. I haven’t been able to find anybody yet too find what it is going to cost me. My advice is to make sure store personnel loads your product slowly and check both sides; top and bottom being driving away.

The Thompson Upright Freezer is just the right size for a corner in the garage. It's an inexpensive, small freezer which means it's lightweight and takes two hands to open -- one on the top door ledge and one on freezer top. Otherwise it rocks a little. Keeps the food frozen well.

Great freezer for a small space as I dislike chest freezers that food gets lost, this freezer I can have an upright in a small space and know what I have at all times. My only disappointment is that when it arrived it had 3 dents in the front and I didn't fuss about it as it is in a storage room for no one else to see

We bought this freezer to keep in the basement so we could "stock up" on sale items and freeze summer produce without tying up our regular freezer compartment in the kitchen refrigerator. Some people said it is too small, but we have found it holds ALOT of food. It fits in a small space, is quiet, and so far works great. Am hoping it continues to work for many years.

The size is perfect for empty-nesters. Like the fact that is a manual defost. The shelves are fixed or none adjustable. The coils run though the shelves. Which is great for flash freezing of berries to vacuum seal. The price point was competitive as well. Like that it is a upright freezer much easier to see what is on the shelves. Don't have to wonder what is on the bottom of the old chest freezer that this unit replaced.
