I had been looking at this upright freezer for some time. I bought it approximately a month ago and I am glad I did. Unlike most deep freezers, just open the door and see what you are looking for, instead of having to dive head first into a standard deep freezer.. I like how it creates a vacuum seal after the door is open so you know your items are kept frozen. It did have a bit of cosmetic damage when it arrived, but I didn’t mind the small scratches and 1 ding, as this was not going to be in a place where others would see it freezer.

We bought this for our cabin in the mountains and so far it is working out really well. It would be good though to state on the side of the box NOT to put it on its side, not on a brochure INSIDE the box. Also, the longevity of this freezer remains to be seen.

Brand new freezer was beat up on delivery when I took it out of the box. Can't get it level so have to shim it. Would not buy a freezer this way again. Next time will be delivery with set up. That way if it has dents, cracks in plastic parts, and won't level like this one does, I will not accept it.

This is a very good small freezer. We got it when our regular fridge/freezer stopped working and we were waiting for repairs (as of now we’re still waiting!). It’s able to hold all our frozen meats and vegetables and still has room. This will compliment our fridge/freezer when (if) it gets fixed.

My husband and I bought this freezer in hopes of making a good investment. Well, we were terribly mistaken. The freezer never froze and then after about 2 days it stopped cooling. Needless to say, we returned it. Upon returning it, the cashier said someone else had just returned the same product for the same reasons. She even said that's not Sam's normal brand of appliances. I would highly discourage one from purchasing this item!

This item arrived freight damaged but after reading all the other reviews I am just Thankful it is working. I was short on time to get freezer food in so I didnt return it. Next time I think I will read internet reviews from more diverse sites. Left it 24 hours in a sunny location, plugged in. It works. It runs a little hot. Should help heat the greenhouse over the winter! I will update this as I found out people are losing whole freezers of food from sudden breakdowns.

We've only had this freezer for a few weeks to a month, but it has performed well so far. It's quiet, spacious inside, and doesn't take up much floorspace. We were able to easily swap the door hinge to the other side. I like that the coils are built into the shelves, so the cooling effect is spread throughout the interior. I think my only complaint is that the magnetic seal on the door makes it kind of hard to open, especially on a hard time floor where the wheels roll easily. At least it seals well! Our electricity bill doesn't seem to have suffered much with the addition of this freezer. Overall, I'm pleased, especially for the price!

Very flimsy had to return it noticed bottom was scraped and dented also freezer door kept falling out. No instructions on manual as to how to fix the problem. When is took it back to the warehouse they offered a replacement which I thought was great but when they unpack it they freezer door kept doing the same thing and no one knew what to do. Not a great deal or quality for the money I decided not to take the replacement.

Just perfect. I had been looking for a new freezer for the last month. The day before the purchase, my landlord had replaced the refrigerator with a way smaller model. All of the freezers within the Chicagoland areas have been sold out and on back order for months. I just so happen to luck in fing this one in indiana, 2 hours away, which was also the last upright freezer. Just perfect for a 3 member household. I love it.

I read the reviews, several of them. I was worried of the over heating issue. I live in small town America so this ment a 2 hour drive to the location and 2 hour return trip, in which the freezer would be laying in the back of my suv and I do mean laying. I read several other sites on freezer transportation and decided to let the freezer sit upright until the next day. I plugged it in (the setting was already on #3 and i believe the instructions even said setting 3 which is the coldest) bam it was so hot to the touch it would have burned my hands and that is no joke. Determined to get this freezer to work I researched more. After the freezer was once again as if I had just unboxed it, I plugged it in this time I set the cooling setting on #1 and check the outside touch for overheating and it was perfect. I gradually increased the temperature allowing 3 to 4 hours inbetween rising the temperature, 1 then 1 1/2 then 2 and finally 2 1/2. My freezer is now 1 month old and is perfect! Never felt hot never gave me any indication this wouldnt be the perfect match for my needs.
