Bought this because the price was right and I thought I might need an extra freezer, just in case I caught too many fish or killed a deer. It works great and has more than enough room for my purposes another plus is that it fits in a pretty small ares so it't not out in the way like some freezers.

I bought this a few weeks ago and when it arrived it was light enough I was able to bring it in the house and put it in place. I left it sit for a couple days Before I plugged it in. It works great and is really quiet and is exactly the size I needed to stock up on meats. This upright is great versus a chest freezer I would have to dig through to find things. Oh and it has a great seal too, sucks that door tightly shut when you close it. I hope it lasts many years to come because it’s exactly what I needed.

My regular refrigerator is a side by side and there is not a lot of freezer space. This is perfect for one person or a small family. Because it is upright, items are easy to locate. I can purchase family size frozen foods and don't have to purchase as often because I now have the space.

The Price Was Right, The Product Wasn't! I purchased a Thomson Upright Freezer and had to return it - TWICE! Reason(s) for Return 1st Purchase - The door wouldn't remain on its hinges & fell off when you opened it and there was a part missing on the bottom which made it wobbly and unstable.... I returned it and exchanged it for another, brought it home, plugged it up, waited for it to get cold(several hours), opened the door to place something inside and "the door fell off the freezer"! I contacted the manufacturer, no one was available in Tech Support so I was given a case#, told that someone would contact me(they didn't) and sent me an email that requested everything (except your 1st born! LOL) so they can make "a decision" whether or not to help/repair/return the freezer(which would be out of state!)! (Only had it a couple days!) So, then I called Sam's Club to see if someone could help with repair but they didn't have Tech Support for Appliances and said that I could return it and get another one( Exhausted & Exasperated!). I just returned it for a refund (which took about 6-7 days to return to my account) because it wasn't worth the added expense and trouble (Sam's wouldn't deliver and set up so I had to pay additional money to get a someone to pick up and return each time) Soooooo Disappointed! Out of all the years and times I've purchased from Sam's Club, I have never had so much "Trouble and Inconvenience" with a product!!! Truly Disappointed....

Freezer arrived on time however, due to it being a christmas gift we did not open the box when it arrived. Once opened Christmas morning the Freezer was damaged. It has 2 large dents plus one of the leveler feet was crushed.. Once plugged in the Freezer does work fine . It was a gift for our son. disappointing! but a hassle to try to take back so we will have to live with it.

Great price. Delivered to our home quickly. Is working very well and quietly with temperature being maintained exactly at zero F or less as desired. For the savings in price, we got a wireless monitor to see the temp directly without opening the door.

It freezes beautifully, which is the goal of having a freezer. It stores plenty, which is why I wanted a second freezer. BUT, the door won't stay on. Literally every time I open the door, the door comes off its tiny little pin, and I have to line it all up and put it back together every time. I've tried to rig it to stay on, but so far, I've had no success.

When I received the freezer it was laying down. The instructions say to stand it upright 30inured prior to plugging it in. I stood the freezer up for 3 days prior to plugging it in. I even followed the instructions to a "T" making sure it was also level. The unit runs but did not get cold after 4 hours of running. The motor was smoking hot so I unplugged it. Very disappointed.

PURCHASED AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT FIRST , I ORDERED IT ON DEC.11 DELIVERY WAS TO BE DEC. 18-20 THEY GOT IT DEC.27 THEN ,IT WAS DELIVERED UPSIDE DOWN AND STOOD ALL DAY TILL EVENING THEY TURNED IT UPRIGHT AND LET IT SET 4 DAYS. WHEN IT WAS PLUGGED IN AFTER SETTING 4 DAYS,IT RAN OK 2 DAYS LATER, IT WAS LOADED WITH FOOD AND WAS FINE 3 DAYS LATER THEY WENT TO GET SOMETHING OUT OF IT AND BLOOD WAS RUNNING OUT THE BOTTOM,IT HAD QUIT AND THEY LOST ALL THE FOOD IN IT! LESS THAN A MONTH IN USE AND A GIFT I WILL BE RETURNING FOR A FULL REFUND ASAP

We bought this freezer a few weeks ago and we have not had a single problem from it. It works very well. It immediately started getting cold (I saw a few reviews saying it never started to get cold, ours worked the way it's supposed to). Overall, we are quite pleased with this purchase. P
