The Price Was Right, The Product Wasn't! I purchased a Thomson Upright Freezer and had to return it - TWICE! Reason(s) for Return 1st Purchase - The door wouldn't remain on its hinges & fell off when you opened it and there was a part missing on the bottom which made it wobbly and unstable.... I returned it and exchanged it for another, brought it home, plugged it up, waited for it to get cold(several hours), opened the door to place something inside and "the door fell off the freezer"! I contacted the manufacturer, no one was available in Tech Support so I was given a case#, told that someone would contact me(they didn't) and sent me an email that requested everything (except your 1st born! LOL) so they can make "a decision" whether or not to help/repair/return the freezer(which would be out of state!)! (Only had it a couple days!) So, then I called Sam's Club to see if someone could help with repair but they didn't have Tech Support for Appliances and said that I could return it and get another one( Exhausted & Exasperated!). I just returned it for a refund (which took about 6-7 days to return to my account) because it wasn't worth the added expense and trouble (Sam's wouldn't deliver and set up so I had to pay additional money to get a someone to pick up and return each time) Soooooo Disappointed! Out of all the years and times I've purchased from Sam's Club, I have never had so much "Trouble and Inconvenience" with a product!!! Truly Disappointed....

The first one delivered had a broken top, the plastic pieces that held the front on were broken. Sam's Club was good about replacing it but it took Fed Ex several trips over 2 weeks to pick up the old one. The second was missing a cover for the screw holes on the top cover. It also had the front support leg chipped. Given the problems exchanging the first we kept the second. The temperature gets low enough but it takes a long time to get there .

This was the perfect size and width to go into my corner in my apartment. I was tired of making market every week for me and my husband. I gave my stand up freezer to my children when we moved into our new condo. I'm his was just the perfect addition now i can bulk shop like i am used to

I ordered one had delivered, was damaged-huge dent on side but worked. Sent back replaced with a second freezer-damaged again. This time 3 huge scratches on outside and gets very hot. Had to unplug. Bringing this one back to store in person will not get another one unless can examine and try in store

Bought this 3 weeks ago. The packing box was not damaged, however when all packing was removed there was a dent in the door in the exact same place as the floor model. We didn't complain because we did not want to wait for another one so we kept it. It does not affect the cooling of the freezer. Well worth the money.

i order the freezer 3 weeks ago. It was damaged when it was delivered at first. then I asked for exchange. However, after 2 weeks, the freezer does not work. i used it to store my breastmilk and I throw all the breastmilk aways because the inside of the freezer is much warmer than I thought. BTW, I use the coldest temperature.

In general, a good freezer. It keeps my food cold. The only portion I'm sure is the temperature control and efficiency portion. Plugged it with the default temperature control setting. It ran nonstop and I had to turn it down a little bit to allow the compressor to cycle. Also, it runs longer and more frequent than the yellow ENERGYGUIDE label says. I plugged the freezer in a wattage meter and ran for about 2 weeks. The energy consumption will be around 350-400KWH/yr, not 304KWH/yr range saying on the label. If I leave the default temperature control setting, the number will be higher.

From the start the product was damaged on the size, which I was ready to ignore. However after the first week my grandson opened the door and door came completely off the hedges. Since then I have had to defrost the freezer twice in less than a month because so much frost. I guess the frost is a result of the door not being closing tightly???? I will be returning said product soon.

I bought this small upright for extra freezer storage. I have a 5 cu. ft. small chest freezer also which is great, but I always have to dig down deep to find what I need. This freezer with all of its shelves makes organizing my purchases much easier. The small size fits great in small places and can be moved around easily. I am very pleased with it.

The best part of buying through Sams is that the handoff at pickup in the parking lot was easy , friendly, and very helpful.....unfortunately, the problem I had was when I got home, I had to unload and put the freezer in the desired location all by myself. I did have to elevate the unit a bit and put it on 4 flat stepping stones. No worries, I got it done and it is now functioning and taking care of all the items we needed to store. The freezer fits beautifully.
