I just wanted to write the review you never see. The unit we received was in perfect condition, no dents or damage of any kind. Typically, this doesn’t motivate someone to write a review and say “nothing happened”” but I suspect it’s what happens most of the time. The exterior aluminum panels are treated with a protective plastic coding before the unit is assembled. You will spend most of your unboxing time peeling off the plastic.

The size of the upright freezer is convenient for the space that we had selected to place it. The top shelf was off track on one side; I was able to pop it in; hoping that I wouldn’t crack something—it took quite a bit of muscle to pop it in. When sams club employees loaded my freezer into my SUV I was standing on the back of the drivers side; when I got home I noticed that the freezer had been pushed up onto my headliner and had cracked the shell of the headliner. My wife wasn’t too pleased since it was her car and only two years old. I haven’t been able to find anybody yet too find what it is going to cost me. My advice is to make sure store personnel loads your product slowly and check both sides; top and bottom being driving away.

The freezer came damaged, but Sam's Club used excellent customer service to make it right. The freezer stays at a steady "0 degrees" and so it is operating at optimal performance at a mid range setting. I am pleased with the little freezer as it is doing its job. All-in-all, I'm satisfied.

I bought this item because I cook in bulk and like to freeze meals. This works perfectly for me. I can see everything at a glance without having to paw through everything like a regular chest freezer that we used to have before this.. I absolutely love this upright freezer. Perfect for what I needed. The freezer is not too big or small. I plugged it up & it's being working since (I've had it for a few weeks). It gets very cold. I'm still working on the right temp setting. I like the vacuum seal feature when the door closes.

We purchased this freezer because we needed just a little extra freezer space. It did come damaged on the bottom post that you attach the door to. My husband was able to hammer it straight enough to make it work. We let it sit the required time before we plugged it in. It works great so far and have had no issues. For the price it's a win, win! The freezer itself deserves 5 stars but because it was damaged upon arrival it gets a 4.

I love it!!!!! It's a great size. It has a small footprint and is plenty roomy inside. There are two models being delivered for this freezer. I did have to return the first freezer because it was dented on the bottom. That one had a 1-2-3 dial to control the temperature. The second one has a 1-7 dial and I like that better. The tech support and the staff at my Sam's Club were both very helpful. It freezes well. It does frost up. But so far, it hasn't freezer burned anything. I'm happy with my purchase.

We've been looking for something just this size for a very customized area, the 'fruit cellar' of our +100 year-old home. I read reviews prior. If people had trouble with this freezer, I wondered if they read instructions about letting it rest for a couple of hours before plugging it in after moving it, especially if it was tilted excessively. It was priced very reasonably and you can't beat 'Free' for a delivery charge!

It was shipped and was delivered with a missing adjustable foot and some other small damage. After making many attempts at getting in touch with the company, it has been useless. It runs a lot, even if you have not opened the door in a while. It does keep everything very cold.

When I received this item it was damaged. There was a large hole in the side. I had decided to keep it anyway because there were no more in stock and I had already ordered a pig to be butchered. But when we plugged it in it did not work and again there were no more in stock and the price had went up almost $70. So I just spent the extra money and bought a larger one at Home Depot
