I like an upright freezer over the box type as I get everything lost in the box type. This freezer is a nice size, has sturdy shelves, and holds plenty. I knew going in that it is not self-defrosting, but after about a month there is little buildup anyway.

This is NOT worth buying. It won't go below O degrees; I've only had it about 2 months and it needs defrosting. It is in a room with no heat and the door is only opened 3 or 4 times a week. I can't believe I have wasted my money on this. I would love to get my money back.

So far so good. Love the freezer and size. The price was very good compared to others in size range. I do not have the freezer long so I cannot say how good it is. I would have given it 5 stars but was not offered an extended warranty when I purchased on line. Hopefully it last, I really like it.

Freezer arrived on time however, due to it being a christmas gift we did not open the box when it arrived. Once opened Christmas morning the Freezer was damaged. It has 2 large dents plus one of the leveler feet was crushed.. Once plugged in the Freezer does work fine . It was a gift for our son. disappointing! but a hassle to try to take back so we will have to live with it.

When I received the freezer it was laying down. The instructions say to stand it upright 30inured prior to plugging it in. I stood the freezer up for 3 days prior to plugging it in. I even followed the instructions to a "T" making sure it was also level. The unit runs but did not get cold after 4 hours of running. The motor was smoking hot so I unplugged it. Very disappointed.

PURCHASED AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT FIRST , I ORDERED IT ON DEC.11 DELIVERY WAS TO BE DEC. 18-20 THEY GOT IT DEC.27 THEN ,IT WAS DELIVERED UPSIDE DOWN AND STOOD ALL DAY TILL EVENING THEY TURNED IT UPRIGHT AND LET IT SET 4 DAYS. WHEN IT WAS PLUGGED IN AFTER SETTING 4 DAYS,IT RAN OK 2 DAYS LATER, IT WAS LOADED WITH FOOD AND WAS FINE 3 DAYS LATER THEY WENT TO GET SOMETHING OUT OF IT AND BLOOD WAS RUNNING OUT THE BOTTOM,IT HAD QUIT AND THEY LOST ALL THE FOOD IN IT! LESS THAN A MONTH IN USE AND A GIFT I WILL BE RETURNING FOR A FULL REFUND ASAP

We bought this freezer a few weeks ago and we have not had a single problem from it. It works very well. It immediately started getting cold (I saw a few reviews saying it never started to get cold, ours worked the way it's supposed to). Overall, we are quite pleased with this purchase. P

Thw freezer is very cheaply made. The top part is cheap plastic which is also the part that holds the door on. My freezer was busted when i received it. The top is cracked due the fast that it is so cheap. Unless you are looking for a disposable freezer dont by this

The freezer works good. When we opened the box it was damaged on the back right side. Made it very difficult to level, but after several tries and impromptu leveling aids it is good now. They must have a tough time getting these to the stores in good condition. We had purchased another brand from the Walmart store website and it had broken shelves, so this one was at least better.

Bought this about a month ago, so far it been running just perfect. One thing I suggest is to check it out for dents in it before you leave the store. Got home with the first one and it had a big dent in the bottom of it. I live about 25 miles from store so had to box it up and take back. Got another one and thought I was looking it over good, it looked good but got home there was another very small dent in this one wasn't too visible so I just kept it. But overall been running very quite and good.
