I needed something to fit in a certain space and this was the right size. I was excited to receive it but after I unboxed it I saw that it was damaged pretty good sized dent in the door, the door came off in my hand as I opened it, the bottom hinge holding the door was bent down, and the top of the unit was loose and cracked. The top is supposed to have five screws in it. One was never put in at the factory, two were stripped and one was broken which is what cracked the top.If it had arrived in good condition I would have been delighted. I am surprised at how many reviews report damage upon delivery or pickup, especially recently.Walmart customer service were excellent, issued a refund immediately and arranged for FedEx to come and pick it up at my home - I had ordered it at Walmart.com and had it delivered. Biggest problem is the freezer is now out of stock so I have to wait to see if it comes back in stock. I will buy this again if I get the chance. By the way, this was a FR690-D unit and instructions say you have to allow 4 inches on each side and back, and 12 inches at top for air movement so this will affect the space you are putting it in. Tried to add photos of the damage but system would not do it.

the shelves are permanently installed and cannot be removed or moved to accomodate larger items. This was NOT told to us pre purchase. The freezer is useless to our temple since we can't even store tubs of ice-cream. A complete waste of charity funds.

We purchased this freezer in 2021, and today, when I went to get some meat out of it, I realized it had not been working. Everything was thawed out and not cold. It had not been working for a few days. I called Sam's Club and was told it was no longer under warranty. You would think it would have lasted longer than 2 1/2 years. Sadly, we lost about $275.00 worth of meat. (The freezer was inside of the house).

This is exactly what I needed. A smaller freezer that didn't take up much floor space. I purchased this from the club and after unpacking it did not see any dents or scratches. The unit started immediately when plugged in and in a couple of hours the interior was super cold. So far I'd recommend this unit as it is a very good price for an upright freezer. The only reason I didn't give it 5-stars is I want to see how it well it is holding up after a month as some people have complained of it failing inside that time frame.

THE WORST FREEZER EVER!! THE FREEZER ARRIVED DAMAGED AND THE DOOR KEPT FALLING OFF, I THEN DECIDED TO ORDER A REPLACEMENT! WHEN THE REPLACEMENT CAME WHAT DO YOU KNOW! IT WAS DAMAGED TOO! I JUST ASKED FOR A REFUND AND DECIDED NOT TO BUY A FREEZER FROM WALMART.

This is not a frost-free freezer. The cooling coils are built into the shelves and are not adjustable. Again not anything I wasn't expecting. Unfortunately quality control during assembly is not what it should be. I got it out of the box and attempted to open the door. The whole door just came off in my hand. The top cap holds the pin that makes up the door hinge. When it was assembled the pin wasn't aligned with the door. It was forced down causing the crack in the top plate pictured. With the top plate cracked it will no longer hold the top hinge in place. I happen to be going by the store tomorrow morning. The freezer is getting returned. Not sure if I will replace it or look for something better constructed. The price and size are right for what I need. Not sure about a recommendation to a friend. Returned it to the local club and exchanged for another one. The new freezer was not damaged when I unpacked it. Plugged in now waiting for it to cool. I'll update when It is in use.

Was looking for medium size freezer, but did not want the hassle of a chest freezer with everything piled up . Works great freezes everything evenly and offers lots of extra space for a small family. Not to mention price was lower for size then Best Buy or Sears

After reading the reviews I was a little skeptical. The freezer is a perfect size for a small family and works well. I love the stand up freezer and shelves as it makes it easier to organize and is more accessible than digging into freezer chest. I have not experienced any issues with the freezer. I am very happy with my purchase.

The first 3 pictures are of the freezer. The last 3 pictures are of another product, a small refrigerator/freezer. I bought the freezer yesterday, with a 3 year warranty, based on the very questionable reviews. Replacing a 25 year old Kenmore 5.0 cf chest freezer that still works, but looks ragged. So far, it works well. Convenient with the shelves, however this 6.5 cf freezer will not hold as much as the old 5.0 cf chest freezer due to the layout. Just hope it holds up as well as the old Kenmore.

The door seal on my freezer needs to be replaced. I spent 20 minutes on the phone with Curtis International obtaining a Conformation Number and Work Order Number. Then I had to write an email to customer service requesting information about the part. I received an auto generated reply, and then nothing further. The auto reply was over two weeks ago. My Igloo freezer is essentially a non-repairable, disposable appliance.
