Don’t waste your money on this unless you want to also waste money on food that you will be throwing away. Have had it for a year and the seal is shot already. Door doesn’t stay shut. Came home to a swimming pool in my kitchen and over $200 worth of food ruined.

The door seal on my freezer needs to be replaced. I spent 20 minutes on the phone with Curtis International obtaining a Conformation Number and Work Order Number. Then I had to write an email to customer service requesting information about the part. I received an auto generated reply, and then nothing further. The auto reply was over two weeks ago. My Igloo freezer is essentially a non-repairable, disposable appliance.

Bought about 2 years ago. Honestly a decent little freezer (keyword here little). Liked it so much we bought a second one in chest style for our daughter. For us though it's proven to be a little hard to organize especially when it gets a little "icy". So it's being replaced with a new Samsung. Which has drawers, and shelf combo along with lighting and in addition to door shelves. But again this is a great little freezer and while being replaced it's not due to a failure or poor quality

I brought it home from Sams and followed instructions to use the freezer. I placed three items in the freezer to evaluate how cold it would stay. Needless to say it only made it 2 days before no longer cooling....I returned it to Sams without difficulty , but frustrating experience.

We purchased this in store on 4th July to replace our old (20yrs) chest freezer in our utility room next to our back door. I was afraid that all the meat we had wasn’t going to fit but all did with the exception of a full size brisket. Had to move a full brisket to my side by side refrigerator in the kitchen because it was too long. However, smaller briskets, steaks, ground beef, chicken breast etc all stacked nicely and are easier to get to than the chest. Love that it fits perfect in the the space and only takes up a fraction of the space. I gave only four stars because the shelves can’t be removed or adjusted so not sure if a huge Turkey is going to fit this fall. Wish it was a little deeper (not taller) then I believe the full brisket would have fit. So far no frosting up although we’ve only had it a week. My husband said that the door bracket was bent but he fixed it, shuts great now but the door slipped and it got dinged by the corner of old freezer. Oh well, It’s ugly but doesn’t affect the performance of the freezer.

The first 3 pictures are of the freezer. The last 3 pictures are of another product, a small refrigerator/freezer. I bought the freezer yesterday, with a 3 year warranty, based on the very questionable reviews. Replacing a 25 year old Kenmore 5.0 cf chest freezer that still works, but looks ragged. So far, it works well. Convenient with the shelves, however this 6.5 cf freezer will not hold as much as the old 5.0 cf chest freezer due to the layout. Just hope it holds up as well as the old Kenmore.

I purchased this in February 2019, July 2019 it died. Returned for a refund. It was kept in a spare bedroom of my house. When I first purchased it, I was going to keep it in the kitchen, but the compressor / condenser noise is so loud I couldn’t stand it. Don’t waste your money.

This find was a victory for me as I needed an upright freezer to fit in a small space in my pantry. It fit!!! Space is great for small family! I was surprised how much shelf space for only 6.5 cubic feet! Few things about it that did not make me happy. 1. Large dent right in the middle of the door - I put a magnet over it 2. The sides look dirty but I think it’s just the paint color -It’s in my pantry so I guess I’m ok with it not being beautiful!

The door seal failed twice in one year causing me to lose over $1000 in meat (2 processed deer then later a freezer full of ribs and briskets). The door seal is not secured in the groove on the door so it comes off too easily causing the freezer to have a leak and eventually thaw.

This freezer is very poor quality material. The plastic was damaged (hidden) in the shipping carton. I had to reverse the door because the hinges support (plastic) was broken. The top cover was broken on top right side, would not stay down. I used super glue to fix it. It is running quietly and seems to be freezing good. I hope the motor and condensing unit are better quality than the plastic body.
