This item isn't worth the money spent - even if it is cheap. I still do not believe in just throwing away a couple hundred bucks whether times are in abundance or lean. Initially, it worked. Gradually, each level of the freezer racks have stopped working - which means food is going bad. It's rather interesting to have a freezer where the top part becomes just a chilling area, while the lower section is the only part that will freeze. I will be taking this thing to the dump soon. I can say they need to be fined for contributing to landfill waste!

Apparently was well packed but once opened it had multiple dents and metal piece on the bottom corner to attach the door was bent. Regardless I was able to put door on successfully and appears to be working. I will attempt to exchange for another of the same since I like the upright position. And size is perfect Can I place it in mi garage?

Freezer arrived broken on the top broken, broken on the bottom. It couldn’t sit flat on the ground so I sent it back. Minor hassle actually getting replacement but it was handled after a half hour on the phone and finally talking to a manager. Waited a week for second shipment to arrive, it was also broken on the top. I couldn’t wait any longer for another freezer so I accepted it. Freezer gets cold but when you close the door it makes a long sucking sound. I definitely would not buy this again, and definitely not from SamsClub.com

We bought this in March, we had it for 45 days and it leaked all over the floor and stopped cooling! It looks completely fine on the outside, doesn't appear to be clogged or dirty! We are very disappointed and now have to deal with warranty and everything else! Extremely upset and irritated.

We've had this freezer for a year and 2 months. A month ago, we noticed that there's a really annoying rattling sound that begins at random times. The first time it happened, we whacked the freezer and the noise stopped...until it started again. This keeps happening, and now there's a new sound every time the compressor turns off. It's clearly a death rattle so we're looking for a new one. What a waste of money.

I bought the Thomson Upright Freezer in anticipation of the arrival of 1/2 beef order. I bought my freezer Spring 2021, this is October 4, 2021 and it has already stopped working and ruined almost my entire beef order! I'm so disappointed in this product!

I had second thoughts when purchasing. Should've followed my instinct. It didn't include the plug! I knew it was too good to be true. I'll spend the extra monies and get a name brand/decent freezer. PLEASE, don't waste your money! Shame, shame, shame on Sams Club for carrying/selling this item.

I bought this today to keep teen age grandsons snack food in. Looked like it had been dropped. The back bottom was dented in and it could not be leveled and the hinge pin was bent so when you open the door the door fell off. Sam’s is taking it back with no questions asked. Love sans but not this freezer! Not exchanging it…refund!!!

I had the same issue on a different model. It stopped working after only 3 months and I lost over $300 worth of food!!! I had the same problems with the outsourced "service" from Curtis International which was a joke. Luckily mine happened within the 90 day return policy for Walmart, so I was able to bypass the company completely and just return the item to Walmart and I purchased a Haier instead which has been working beautifully with no problems for about 5 months so far. So luckily I was just out all of the time and food and was able to recoup the appliance cost at least.

Brought it home from the club, looks perfect, not a scratch on it. Turned it on and let it run a couple hours....still warm. Let it run all night, checked in the morning - still warm inside. Taking it back this weekend. After seeing all these other problem reviews on here, will probably cough up the extra bucks and buy a reputable brand.
