Listen to the bad reviews!

I bought this in Jan 2021 in spite of all the bad reviews. Here I am 10 months later, I go into my full freezer and it does not work! Thankfully trash day is tomorrow because I have about $500 worth of meat to throw away.

Defrosting food

Horrible buy!!! We have had the thing freeze over twice in the past 3 months. Push its way open. Defrost all over my floor. Ruin $100 worth of food. Defrost $200 more we had to cook. I have only had it 18 months! Bad buy

Adjust your freezer legs so the front of the freezer is slightly higher than the rear of the unit - gravity will assist in keeping the door closed. Arrange the food inside the unit so it does not place pressure on the door or cause the door to open. You can also buy & install adhesive velcro child safety strips (designed to prevent young children from opening a cabinet) that will assist in keeping the door closed.

It didn’t even last a year

The freezer was partially full and it died. We bought it in July and it’s the beginning of May and it no longer works. Also, you can only return it for up to 90 days, so no freezer and lost the food too.

Horrible!

Bought this end of July 2920. It’s less than 7 months and it completely broke down. Sams club didn’t offer a warranty on this nor would they exchange it for another freezer. Waste of mo eh and horrible customer service

Do not buy!

First review on this was so-so but after ony about two years it died at my cabin and ruined a bunch of meat and other perishables. I will never buy another Thomson product ever

Thomson 6.5 cu. ft. stopped working after 5 months

This was a great freezer when I purchased it from Sam's Club in late March. The freezer stopped working over Labor Day weekend. Now I have to get it replaced with a new one.

Shelves are not adjustable

Had this freezer for almost one year. Had to defrost it. Shelves are not adjustable and it will not hold a 20 lb turkey or 10 lb ham. Replace with a chest freezer. This freezer does not hold as much as my chest did.

Only lasted 9 months

Bought Dec 29, 2020, as of Sept 15, 2021 one of the shelves quite cooling. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Will not buy again or recommend. Trying to find the receipt now for possible warranty but I'm not holding my breath.

Stopped Working After 5 months

Ours went dead after just 5 months. We had to throw away the whole freezer of food, the worst part is the frozen dinner rolls thawed out and became so stinky because of yeast. Sam's Club took it back and refunded with the receipt on the app.

DO NOT BUY

Died within 3 weeks. Lost more money in food than i paid for the freezer. Should have listened to my gut and purchased a better unit from a store that actually sells appliances. Usually sams merch is good but this was poorly made.
