I bought this in November of 2019 and when Covid-19 hit, I filled it with meat. I came home today after being gone a week, opened my garage and was hit with a horrible smell. Freezer just quit working and all my meat is spoiled and blood is seeping out of the door all over the place. If I could give it a zero I would!!!

Got this freezer as a Christmas gift, kept it in the garage - worked fine for a few months then over frosted and after defrosting no longer worked. Was somewhat of a hassle to get refund for purchase but eventually got it. Although priced really good would not recommend as it didn’t even last a whole year.

Don’t buy this! It broke after 29 DAYS! Thank god we were able to return it because it was within 30 DAYS! We didn’t buy the extended warranty so we would have been stuck with and out $200+. It all of a sudden stopped getting cold. We lost everything in it by the time we found out. 2 days before it went completely warm I got ice cream out, there was a lot of frost inside that hadn’t been there in the week a leading up to that day and the ice cream was still frozen but it was a little easier to scoop.I didn’t think anything of it. The freezer still was cold, everything it was fine except frost was on everything bad. It was set to 2 so I set it a little higher almost to 3 and left it. 2 days later I opened the door and everything was completely warm. Like opening a cooler after a weekend of camping and all the ice had melted. Still plugged in and everything.

So I purchased this and picked up on a Friday, took it back Saturday because the door just fell off as in one of the reviews I saw that the pins were too short, that would be correct but unlike the gentleman I am not gonna Jerry Rig it with a piece of board lol. I should have known by the mixed reviews that I would be unhappy with this purchase. I was so excited to not have to bend over into a chest freezer. But guess what, I now have a chest freezer.

1st freezer I bought showed up broken, the cardboard was soaked in oil at the back and the freezer would not work. Sam's accepted the return for an exchange without issue. 2nd Freezer arrived, box looked ok, but there is very little protection in the box around the freezer. It works great, but came with 5-10 dings/dents around the unit. Since it works, keeping this one to avoid the hassle of shipping it back for another exchange.

I returned one because it was dented. The replacement freezer exterior was fine. The freezer freezes the food well but I constantly have ice buildup at the top of the door and around the control. I clean around the control daily but should not have to but otherwise it freezes well and holds more than I expected.

Looks like fork lift or something happen to this freezer. If I didn’t live 1 and 1/2 hours away I’d take this back. But since you have to destroy box to get it out it would be worse by the time I got it back to Sam’s. We went ahead and put it in place and I forgot to take a picture, but I reached back and took a picture. Needed a small freezer for all the garden items I have in mason jars.

Received this freezer as a Christmas gift last December. Like the convenience of an upright freezer.i noticed that the freezer doesn’t feel very cold, but was freezing food - or so I thought. A few days ago I noticed a smell of potential spoiled food, which seemed odd - because the food was frozen. But today When taking food out, the food on the top shelf was all defrosted - all items were seafood - none of the items were opened. The remaining frozen food items were still frozen. So will take back crab legs ( which are definitely spoiled - could smell them through the packaging) salmon and shrimp back to Sam’s and REQUEST refund for food and get new freezer - so disappointed!!!

I thought I read all the details but missed that this is a frost freezer, I didn't know they still made that old type. Unfortunately, after 1 week, I realized this fact too late as it's got an inch of frost build-up on the top coil already. So sad I'll be defrosting my freezer every month.

We have been searching for a vertical freezer that would allow us the store more food. One week after plugging in the freezer I noticed that it stops freezing and all the food on the inside spoiled. Extremely disappointed because I normally never have issues with items excepted by Sam’s Club. We did all the trouble shooting steps multiple times.
