Waited more than 30 days for delivery. Delivery was made to front door and not back door as requested. Small dent in the side of the freezer door, does not affect performance. Nice size freezer, and appears after these few days that it works as expected. Good value if you can be patient.

The unit appeared to be in perfect condition when I installed it. However, after 1 week of operation, the freezer shelves were covered in frost - up to 2” thick in some places. After close inspection, I discovered the door gasket was not sealing on about a 6” section. I used a hot air dryer to “relax” the gasket and secured the door in place with rope to “train” the gasket. Fortunately, it worked, as I did not want to take the freezer back (2hr drive).

So far so good! We liked the size and the ease of use. It doesn’t take up a great desk of room and no bending over to dig for items as we’ve done for years in the chest style. If you aren’t planning to overbuy foods you may forget about, it’s perfect!

I don't like to store my frozen meat & vegetables in self defrost freezers. This freezer is the traditional type & the selves have coils that keep everything well frozen & easy to reach. The freezer is large enought to hold at least a quarter of beef & small enough to easily clean & move around. I have two large freezers & they must run even when they are almost empty. This size allows me to consolidate my frozen items & shut down the empty ones. The fact it is upright is a great plus, I don't have to move things around to find what I want. I bought this last freezrer for my son & he loves it too. Thank you Thomson for making these freezers.

Nice little freezer. Holds a fair amount of stuff. They need to pack the bottom better. The plastic piece that goes on the bottom of the door, where you switch the door from one side to the other is broken off. Also a dent in the side. Works good otherwise.

The freezer was a great value - takes up less floor space, has more inside space than a chest model and cost less than an equal storage chest model would have. It is convenient to find things in and gives me space to take advantage of food sales when the desired product is available.

Used as a freezer in a concession stand, perfect size for frozen ice creams/treats. The door seal is crooked on one side allowing cold air to flow out and the freezer to run continually and get super hot. Attempting to work with the maker for a replacement door. It would be perfect if it weren't for that.

I bought this freezer because I needed a bit more space to store food and ice than what my fridge freezer could provide. It’s perfect! It doesn’t take up too much space, but it provides enough space so i can always have plenty for my family of 3, including 2 teenage boys. The extra space really comes in handy when buying wholesale from Sam’s, especially when I’m trying to make less frequent trips into town because of the pandemic. I put it in my laundry room. It gives off heat so I personally wouldn’t put it in the kitchen. I plugged it in and left it empty for about a day and a half before I started putting stuff in it. It’s still only about 2/3 full. Freezes very well and quickly. The temperature is easily adjustable and I have mine set around the middle. I had trouble finding it in stock so I literally stalked the store pickup availability at my area Sam’s stores until I was able to snag one. Pick up was a breeze. They brought it right to my pickup truck and I avoided the half-mile line around the building. I still had to wait a while, but I waited in my vehicle’s AC.

We've had it a couple weeks, seems to be operating as advertised. Temp stays at -10degrees F on middle setting, which is fine. Seems to be ideal size for us, as we wanted it for sales, especially for meats to get ahead of this rampart inflation. Only issue was that we also bent the lower support for the door when taking it off the Styrofoam packing. Since we had brought it home from Sam's in our small SUV, and had to lean it over to straighten the door support, we let it set upright over 24 hours before turning it on.

First the ease of making the purchase online was great. I did a store pickup and the customer service representative was very prompt, friendly and courteous. The freezer was light weight which made it easy for me to move alone. The inside had more than enough space for all of food that I removed from my chest freezer. I love not have to bend down inside like I did with the chest freezer. It freezes well. I dont have to worry about hearing the actual motor running. The compact design and the inside made this the perfect freezer for me.
