I am so glad I did because it was the right size for a variety of foods. What really impressed was the durability. I used to put two cheaply-priced plates together to hold the amount of food needed for the function. Not only did I use only one Chinet, but the plates were incredibly strong. I was amazed at how sturdy they were and the great quality for the price I paid. Now I use Chinet for all my group functions and highly recommend them to family, friends and colleagues.

The hold up so well for large meals, especially holiday and potluck meals. You can put a large amount of food or a great variety of food on these platters without the concern they will collapse. Additionally they are perfect for taking food to a potluck and not have to be concerned with getting your dish back. We like to keep Chinet products around for everyday use as well.

They are convenient, strong, durable and most of all easy to use and then toss in the garbage. My families choice for their lunch and dinner plates hands down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these platters to use for holiday meals. They are perfect for putting a little bit of everything on your plate. The platters are sturdy, leak proof, and look great on the table. I do plan to purchase them for future holiday meals and for large gatherings.

Bought these so I didn't have as much clean up for Christmas dinner. All went well until the first person put some Italian meatballs in red sauce on their plate and sat down at my table with white linens. Every single plate soaked through immediately. It's not like I was serving soup! It's meatballs for heaven sake in thick tomato sauce. Well, someone noticed and everyone scrambled to get something under their plates. How embarrassing! And although the plates were disposed of after the meal I was tasked with washing tomato sauce out of my white linens at every place setting. I'd rather have washed the plates!
