I always cook a big meal for everyone- anything from a taco night to cornish hen, smoked ham, or BBQ on the grill. These platters hold up- they hold the food and don't leak. This is important when you're eating and playing card games for hours!

This is mostly due to my fear that the paper plate would not be strong enough. I put a Chinet Classic White Platter to the test and was very impressed. I served chips and salsa. The salsa was wet and I started losing confidence that the plate wouldn't hold up as it started getting soggy. I thought the salsa would soak right through. To my surprise it never did. While the plate may have felt soggy, it remained strong and durable. With these plates, I have served a variety of liquid rich entrees and these plates have not disappointed.

With 26 grandchildren running around plus adults when we use classic plates and oval platters we can serve all sizes of appetites and we we use them to serve relish tray items, rolls, and desserts like cookies, cookie bars, brownies, cakes, quick breads and other treats. Can’t do summer bbq or the holidays without Chinet!

They are very sturdy and thick, no leaks with these. This is the perfect size for all occasions or just to use for those family dinners.
