Food does not slide of this plate when eating. And easy clean up after the gathering, just toss them in the trash. Love large sturdy plates

One of the things I especially liked was that the grease from the burgers soaked into the platter but not through the platter. There were no little grease puddles laying around the meat. The Chinet Platter was thick enough that it could hold a good bunch of burgers and still stay sturdy while carrying it. I definitely will be using these platters again!!

Another holiday meal with no collapsing plates.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the past, the thought of using a paper plate as  a serving platter never crossed my mind. This is mostly due to my fear that the paper plate would not be strong enough. I put a Chinet Classic White Platter to the test and was very impressed. I served chips and salsa. The salsa was wet and I started losing confidence that the plate wouldn't hold up as it started getting soggy. I thought the salsa would soak right through. To my surprise it never did. While the plate may have felt soggy, it remained strong and durable. With these plates, I have served a variety of liquid rich entrees and these plates have not disappointed.

The platters are sturdy, leak proof, and look great on the table. I do plan to purchase them for future holiday meals and for large gatherings.

When you add a few heavier food items, most plates start to sag or tend to lose strength when they get wet. But not Chinet Classic White platters. They hold a lot and they hold up. We love these.

I bought these for a convenient way to clean after Thanksgiving. Well, this is Thanksgiving and we are cleaning up messes due to leaky plates that have left stains on my dark wood. These plates are absolute garbage!!! Now I have to research how to treat the stains on my table.
