[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before we had bought a dishwasher we always rinsed the dishes then let them soak. So when we bought the dishwasher I continued to rinse the dishes , till a friend told me I didn't need to do that . The Dishwasher came with a free pack of Cascade and I loved the clean smell of the packs so I stuck with Cascade. I have never rinsed my dishes and they come out the cleanest and have the best scent. I also find the Cascade packs help to keep your dishwasher clean and fresh.I will never use another brand but I will try all the different varieties that Cascade offers.

But unless you are doing an entire load of muffin tins, your china will need to be replaced alot sooner, because this etches the finish right off of your dishes while it's removing that pesky baked on muffin scum. Loved your ad that promotes spouses fighting about whether to pre-scrub....one-upsmanship is so American!

I am a senior and just moved into this house.For years I have been doing dishes by hand and I have hated it.This house has a dishwasher in the kitchen and it is new.I tried to clean the dishes with all of these cheap stuff that you see in dollar stores.One day I saw an ad for Cascade and it was on the day that I do my shopping.I called a few stores and they did not have the new Cascade,I wanted to try it.I did get it at the Albertson here and came home the same day.I have been using Cascade ever since.It works better then all of the cheap dollar store stuff and I just do my dishes once a day..instead of twice and they come out sparkling.This is the best cleaner for us seniors.Please try it and use it.I know and I am now a customer for life.

I am very upset at what Cascade Complete has done to my cookware! Anything aluminum has no finish anymore (dull and strange looking), or it is a mottled black. My black silicone spatulas have a powdery white finish when they come out of the dishwasher. Another problem is my drinking glasses made from recycled pop bottles no longer have any writing on them...everything has been eaten, or etched off. I don't see that anything has been accomplished by changing the formula. I have always used Cascade, but I won't be buying this particular product again.

I have been a fan of cascade action pacs since they have been on the market. My dishwasher is run one to two times a day and I have depended on this product have been happy with it until recently. I noticed the new scents and decided to try them out. I purchase the lavender scent a few weeks ago. I enjoyed the nice aroma it produced in my kitchen when the dishwasher was running, but I started to notice the food I cooked in my pots and pans having a funny taste of lavender. I finished using the pack because unfortunately I am not in a financial position to trash it and buy the regular brand. Unfortunately, my husband did the shopping this week and brought home the Thai scent and I am having the same issue. I do not have my receipts so I can not submit them for a refund from Cascade, but I want other mothers to know not to make the same mistake. I will purchase the original action pacs again, but the scented pacs are the pits.

No more cloudy looking glassware or streaks on the plates. Nice nice!

It's pretty old, and we have hard well water, so I knew I wanted to use Cascade Platinum. It really powers through baked on food, and I LOVE to bake! My husband thought he would buy another brand... ONCE. lol! He even put it in the Cascade bag thinking I wouldn't notice! I could tell immediately after washing the first load that it wasn't right, and after constantly saying "sure wish I had some Cascade!" he's never bought anything different since! :-)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Cascade for many years. I used the powder before the new ActionPacs were available. These ActionPacs are very convenient. No muss - no fuss. Just drop a pac into the dishwasher and let it do all the work. I've experimented by not rinsing my dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher. I only run the dishwasher every couple days. My dishes always come out sparkling clean.
