[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used a different dishwasher detergent and needed a booster to get my dishes clean. I would still get water spots on them and the booster started to take off the finish. Cascade does the job. It leaves my dishes clean without harming them. And no water spots!

I have been buying Cascade Powder for over 20 years and when I knew a new formula was coming out to be more enviroment friendly, I choose to buy a few remaining old style because I liked how it cleaned. I now I had to buy the new style and it has oxidized all my cookie sheet pans, my large cake sheet pans, muffin tins, and a large roasting pan, ones that I have had, and never had problems in the past. I cater weddings and these items are important to me as I purchase fairly expensive items. I now will have to replace these as they are unusable.

I got a new dishwasher 3 yrs ago. After 6 months, my dishes started to look like a bad commercial. I went so far as to take it to a repairman who could find nothing wrong. A friend suggested Cascade Complete, saying it was unbeatable. I could not believe the difference after the first wash. It turns out I have really bad water, but Cascade Complete is amazing. It is ALL I use...I have to drive 15 miles to get it, but that is what I do!!!

Overall - pleased with the cleaning ability and ease, but frustrated that sometimes the gel pacs do not open or the plastic gets "stuck" in the soap dispenser and requires additional washes with a new pac. On my third wash now...feels like a waste of water but want the peace of mind in knowing the dishes are clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Cascade platinum powder for years and loved it. My daughter convinced me to try the platinum actionpacs. I will never go back to powder again. I only run the dishwasher every 2 or 3 days, so the food has a good amount of time to stick to the dishes. The actionpacs have no problem cutting through the dried on food. This is a fantastic product!

I thought this a rather pricey dishwasher item until i realized there is minimal need to pre-rinse/pre-wash. the water i save more than offsets the price for these. They do an amazing job and have never failed to perform no matter how grimy the pots or plates.

I rarely comment on products, but this is an exception. After using Cascade for years, I noticed the box color changed from dark green to lighter green a few months ago. I should have been suspicious. Over a period of time, the dishes became less and less clean, and tea and coffee cups/mugs developed an ugly brown build-up inside. I eventually noticed that (in very fine print) the product was now phosphate free. Your chemists need to go back to the lab. I've since moved on to another brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pods really work well - no prewashing. Even on tough stuff like 2-day old lasagna. 4-star is for fading patterns on my 25 year old stoneware. Used Cascade liquid for years - no problem. But since using this, noticing fading...

My boyfriend insists on using the Cascade shine shield formula "with the GREASE FIGHTING POWER of DAWN" action pacs in our dishwasher. Only problem is, more often than not, I run the dishwasher only to open the door at cycle completion to find the pac still completely intact! This is not a dishwasher malfuction, as the trap door that releases the pacs does work and I frequently find the pac flopped somewhere on the bottom of the dishwasher. So what do I do? I run the cycle again with the same dishes with the same pac-because why try and use another pac when I've got one at the bottom of the dishwasher that's perfectly unscathed. So I run it again. No change. So, now I'm running my dishwasher again (third time) with a different pac. My hopes are not high.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in an apartment and was concerned about how well my dishwasher would perform. My daughter recommended this product and I tried it. I will be using it from now on. I was happy to see my glasses, dishes and cookware come out clean, shining. I will recommend this product to anyone.
