We have used Cascade for years with a myriad of different dishwashers and have been pleased with the results. However, when you took the phosphate out, the whole product "went South"! We had heavy soap film on our glasses, our plates, our silverwear----they were unusable and unsuitable to eat and drink with. Running them in vinegar removed the film but after a few loads, we were right back where we started. Calling in a dishwasher repairman, he found heavy buildup of soap; so much that it looked like a bubble bath on the bottom of the dishwasher. He advised that since Cascade had taken the phosphate out ( which helped the soap break down to be properly rinsed away), he was seeing this problem all over L. A. County. He recommended another product that still had the phosphate included and problem solved! We will buy no more Cascade and I have dumped out what I had left.

I have used Cascade for many years. I am not happy with the packets -- white granules are left inside my dishes, especially coffee mugs and glasses. I will go back to Cascade gel to see if the problem goes away before trying another brand of detergent.

I preferr to use cascade complete over any of the other brands.. it works great!! however i have had a few issues with this brand such as them not dissolving on occassion... i have had this happen to me numeroues times and have called in about it.. cascade customer sevice replaced the product, and this didnt happen again for a while until this new box i opened this last week! i always make sure the water is warmed up before starting dishes to ensure they dissolve! is it another defective box or what!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I didn't buy into the hype of buying single-serve dish soap packs, thinking it would be a frivolous higher price per unit, but I have found that it is worth it. Previously I have always done dishes resulting with residue, soap scum, or food bits left on dishes and in the year that I have been using Cascade Action Pacs I haven't had that problem. You don't really think about the good results on a regular basis but you do when you realize you haven't had to rewash dishes in a really long time.

I also had the issue with the dishes overwhelminly tasted and smelled like the soap ruined some pretzyls too. Too strong and scent for plastic dishes. I went back to my cascade complete pacs cascade is the only thing that works in dishwasher. My definatley would not buy referes to the new scented items not regualar cascade

I have a much older dishwasher but my dishes always come out clean & w no spots or residue when I use any of the Cascade packs. My favorite is this one with Dawn & Fresh Scent. As much as I love this product, it is a bit costly for my budget, so i cannot buy them as often as I would like.

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher about 2 years ago. It recommended I use Finish products. I did not like the way they cleaned. I started using Cascade pacs and I now use the Platinum pacs. I love they way everything is clean and sparkling and even the inside of my dishwasher is sparkling. I will never use anything else.

Thank you for making such a fantastic product! I hated my dishwasher for years and wanted to buy a new one. I've tried every other product on the market and nothing got my dishes clean and spot free. I used to have to scrub my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and they would still come out dirty and spotty. With cascade complete pacs, I simply put my dishes in and they come out beautiful! Thank you for saving me from buying a new dishwasher!

I got my dishes ready in the dishwasher. I set up the hose and electrical cord. (it's portable) I walked away! I forgot to turn the dishwasher on!! So, in the morning, some 9 hours later, my dishes are still in the dishwasher, waiting to be washed! So,being frustrated and angry with myself, I just turned the dishwasher on. When it stopped, I looked and WOW!!! Every dish,pan,frying pan, silverware , glass, and cup was completely cleaned! That is a strong detergent!! Thank you!!
