This cleans no better (or worse) than other tabs/pacs that I have used. I get an average clean from all the products in this dishwasher. I have hard water and an older dishwasher, so that may be why. A pro is that the pac dissolves completely in the dishwasher--no little piece of plastic to fish out (was earlier version of this technology).

I really enjoy the cleaning action and the New Zealand scent filling the kitchen as the dishwasher cleans, however, the plastic dishes pick up the scent. Now my salad, fruit, leftovers, pudding, etc all have a New Zealand scent as well... not pleasant. I won't purchase the scented version again. It would be a great scent for fabric softener, but unpleasant to experience it at mealtimes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cascade Platinum seems to be the best choice for my LG dishwasher (bought new 3 years ago). I still have some failure rate using Cascade Platinum. Every so often, I have badly streaked glassware and plates as well as dirty looking silverware. I've checked that the filter and sprayer arm holes are clean and clear. I make sure that the dishwasher has been loaded properly according to the LG owner's manual, the rinse agent dispenser has been filled and the water is hot enough and I have a whole house water filter. My cupboard is full of various dishwasher boosters and cleaners and I still have problems. Cascade does not "scrub away tough 24-hour stuck-on food" as advertised. Yet it is better than the other brands I've tried. I will continue to buy Cascade Platinum, unless I find something better. Its the best I have found so far. At least some of my dishes are clean, some of the time.

My only complaint is when I go to get my clean dishes out I discover that half the packet is still there, and I have to start the cycle all over again! It's a brand new dishwasher, and I also make sure my hands are dry when I put the packet into the machine. I'll probably go back to the liquid detergent.

I have used Cascade for over 40 years and have always been happy with the product but could never tell the difference between any of the fragrances [ I have tried them all ] until now. I absolutely love the New Zealand Springs scent! Not only do my dishes smell clean , my dishwasher smells wonderful, even between washes! This is the best fragrance ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Cascade for many, many years and always was pleased with it but I particularly like the Cascade complete action pacs - so easy to pop one in dishwasher and know that my dishes will come out clean and shiny plus I like the fresh scent!

These packs leave any plastic you use tasting like the detergent! I can't stand these. If you can smell and taste you will notice this. You end up having to rinse stuff several times to remove it. Will never buy these again. I'm not interested in eating these.

My wife just threw away the remnants of a package of 20 Action Pacs - Cascade Sun Shield Formula, citrus scent. It left a residue of white on everything, especially on the dishes and glassware. It is the worst dishwashing product we have ever used, unworthy of Cascade. I sure hope you are "reformulating".

We get a kick out of the "24 hour commercial". We are empty nesters and therefore there's only my wife and I. We use paper plates now and then, therefore when we use dishes, we don't run the washer for approximately 10 -12 days. We usually don't rinse. When we wash I put one pack in, set the machine for max wash and everything comes out clean! Great product.
